I don't see how.

all this shows is that our community only buys shooters.... no one bothered with forza, which is a damn amazing game. Points like these should not be made because it's just easy ammo for any ps3 fan.

Racing games are a niche genre.

The only racing game ever to do well, other than Mario Kart, is Gran Turismo and that's only because of mindless Sony fanboy sheep who can't tell the difference between a bumper car sim and a true driving simulator like Forza. That's why a $30 demo called Prologue sold so well. Sony fantards are easy marks and Sony banks on that fact.

Forza 3 sold very well for a racing game that doesn't include the words "Gran" or "Turismo" in the title.

Forza 3 is already at 1.30 while UC2 is at 1.70. Forza 3 came out later and already is catching up the biggest PS3 title this year. Next year, i'l give my contribution by buying it too. Forza Motorsport 3 fucking rocks people.

And the box art is damn sweet too
It fits nice in any game collection!

Xbox 360 has loads of racing titles. Forza Motorsport 3 is competing against:
Project Gotham Racing (exc)
RacePro (exc)
Burnout
Need For Speed
Crash Time (mic exc I think)

etc

Also it came out later than Uncharted 2.

Racing games never sell fast, Forza 3 inst that far away from the record set by GT3. The thing is they sell all the time, while shooters have "burps" of sales.

I noticed that too, but I think what he means, if he isn't a fanboy, is that PS3 gamers blow anything out of perspective to help them sleep at night. Or he is just a closet PS3 fanboy, could be either.
