Will Two Worlds 2 Fail like The First?

You may have heard of the game Two Worlds.
It sounded a bit like Oblivion with multiplayer. It sounded really fun. But in actual fact, it was a bit of an epic fail really. It had very weak swordplay, awkward movement (only one walking speed), pretty bland visuals and just generally dull gameplay.

There's a sequel announced. The ps3 version has been canned and it will only be making an appearance on PC and Xbox 360. After such a crap original title, what will make you want to get the second?

Well I'm here to enlighten you

It will feature a much deeper, more convoluted story
It will have much improved and enhanced graphics
It will be set in the same place as the first but with more regions
There will be new cities including a desert city and an elven city
In the new regions, there'll be new climate zones; steppes, jungle and large islands
For each of these zones there will be corresponding animals; rhinos, vultures and many others

It will feature an improved dialog system and quest system
It will feature an improved physics engine
It will feature better AI and more intensive behaviour from NPC's
It will allow you to not only ride horses but now even sail a boat
Horseback riding is improved
There will be improved voice acting
The new region of Tarea has a huge bay with lots of islands - which you can sail between
The multiplayer will be "more attractive and exciting"
It will have many gameplay improvements, for example you can now climb over objects, up ladders, you have much smoother movement, etc

And also...
It will have a depthful levelling up system allowing you to increase the following skills: "Combo-Hit, Power-Hit, Parrying, Running, Carrying Power (Inventory Size), Regeneration, Mana-Regeneration, Elektro-Absorber, Blacksmith's Art, Weapons Maker, Armor Maker, Jump (horse), Bowmaker and the armor skills of Iron Bones, skin and muscles" and many more!

Just because the first failed doesnt mean the second will.Making mistakes is how you learn.And it sounds like they have certainly learned.

Those screenshots look great.

Screens look geat, but in the end, if it still has crap gameplay, it'll be a pain to play. I hope that is what they improve.

Theres a lot of good games on the market right now to give this game any chances. That's double true to me that now i own both a PS3 and 360. I mean theres no way in hell i will give any money to a Two Worlds sequel unless it scores like a 90+ on Metacritic.

I mean, the game looks way better than the original to say the least and for all we know it may end up being amazing.

Even so man, 60 dollars or 50 euros for this? Hell no, this year is crawling with tops notch RPG's and this one most probably gonna be at the very bottom. Sorry i mean it could do well and score a very fine 75 or even 80 if there is a miracle, but i still will not touch it with a ten foot pole...but hey that's just me m'kay

Only if you buy it at launch. A few weeks later you'll find it for a lot less.

And errr yeah Fable III and Mass Effect 2 and Elder Scrolls Oblivion take priority in terms of this years rpg's (not final fantasy coz that's crap imo lol) but still, if this game does in fact turn out good then I'll definately get it when I complete or get bored of the other 2010 rpgs.

Bland visuals? The game has great visuals for the time it came out. The character models are the only not pretty thing. lol.

I liked the game alot, Multiplayer was real fun.

I just hope they develop the game for the PC and Xbox individually so there won't be any problems like lag in Single Player.
