Discontinuation of Xbox LIVE for Original Xbox Games

Like the title says, Microsoft is discontinuing support for XBOX Live 1 games. What are you thoughts on this? Do you ever play XBOX Original games online?

Nope. So it doesn't matter to me.

I love Halo 2, but I don't play it online.

had to happen sooner or later.

it just eats up $$ for MS to keep it all active.

Doesnt matter to me.Only game original Xbox game i would play online cfor would be Halo 2 but Halo 3(and soon to be reach)beats it by a long shot.

Microsoft needs to remake Halo 1 & 2 with online multiplayer for Xbox 360.

I would not be surprised if you we see the Halo 2 maps come to Halo 3 when it gets shut down.

Thats very likely since PS3 has had God of War Collection.

I know its a bit out there, but i would do anything if they could remake Halo 1,2 and possibly 3 on the Halo Reach engine. That would be absolutely awesome, but the likelihood of that happening is very low.

I think 343 industries will make the trilogy into one game.Like they did with Metroid Prime.It's getting harder every year to buy Halo 1 and 2.And both of those game's have key story event's in them.

But it is possible that they would update the graphics for Halo 1 and 2.
