400 MS points and 3 months of XBL free

HELL YEAH I just got 400 microsoft points and 3 months of live from Microsoft because of Original XBL servers getting shut down. Did anyone else get this message? My friend didn't, i think it's because i played Halo 2 recently. It said the 3 months were added directly to my account but i had 4 months left, so i got 7 months now? bad ass if so. They also gave me 400 MS points free! They gave me the code for that one.

Everyone who has Xbox 1 games linked to their gamertag should get that!

I still don't understand why they are shutting down the servers. People should be able to play Halo 2 till the end of time. Isn't that why we're paying for XBL Gold, so we can play our games?

Now, if they want to re-release HD versions of Halo and Halo 2 I'd be all for that.

The main reason that they are shutting down XBOX 1 servers is because its holding back the potential of XBOX Live for the 360. The reason that you have a limit of 100 friends is because the original XBOX Live was coded like that. The only reason that Live 1 was around for so long was because of Halo 2.

Expect a huge wave up updates and improvements to XBOX Live this Fall.

hey can somebody please tell me how to get the ms points please a really need them and yes i have xbox 1 games downloaded (halo 1 splinter cell choas theory) and i have halo 2 on a disc

I played Halo 2 off of the disk
