I truly dislike Mark Rein, now with even more reason.

The site's source said: "Microsoft's keen to avoid a clash with Halo: Reach and wants Natal to own Christmas. That's why we won't be seeing Gears Of War 3 until next year, but expect a major marketing push ahead of its release."

CVG reported this morning that Gears Of War 3 will not be released in 2010, according to Epic.

Im sad that i have to wait for early next year but atleast it's confirmed it is coming out next year.And there gonig to be revealing it at E3.Awesome

Early next year we have Mass Effect 3 coming and Gears of War 3. Very Happy

I understand the move from a business perspective and I guess Gears 3 just isn't ready either, but I was really excited for Gears 3, a year with Gears 3, Halo Reach and SC: Conviction...
In my eyes the PS3 would not compete regardless if GOW 3 + 4 was released.

MS still has the best lineup imo for 2010, I'll get over it I guess...

This year MS does still have a great line up of AAA game's.And it isnt even E3 yet.

I could see Sony releasing a bunch of casual games(most likely not AAA) for Move but for the hardcore game's,MAYBE Resistance 3 and KZ 3.But honestly,i think if they release those 2 games this year,they probally were a tad rushed.

I HIGHLY doubt Sony has a list that could beat Microsoft's.

im sad that its coming out next year but im quite glad because i dont want them to rush it. if its thier last game i want them to not fuck it up this time.

this could just be me wanting gears 3 so bad but they said they wont be releasing the game this year but they didnt say anything about a demo. they did say that they would be making an announcement but what. anyone else think they would release a demo?

I'm reading all kinds of cool and weird things but the latest I read is at E3 Epic will show some Gears 3 and announce it'll be 3D.

I have no idea at the moment, but if this news is true then it'd mean the 360 would be getting a 3D update as well (Sony already have claimed the PS3 will see a 3D update)...

I'm assuming it would be 3D compatible, not 3D only.

I've read 5 pages of text, some of it has been mentioned and others not yet, I'm not saying any of this is certain except for what Mark Rein has discussed.

This is good news, IMO. MS has 2010 on lock down and to be honest I doubt I'll be able to play all the amazing games coming out this year exclusive on Xbox 360. Gears of War 3 coming in in April of 2011 will ensure no title infighting this holiday and give MS the biggest title of early next year as well. The Xbox 360 now has 2011 on lock down as well.

News going around is we'll see something as early as next month in regards to Gears of War 3 (some footage) but a larger amount will be revealed at E3.

It's a lot better like this. Gears of War is huge but probably not as big as Halo and if it was released this year, it might have been lost in the hype.
Now looking forward to another great post-christmas game.
