I'm going to kill someone

Let me put you in my shoes.
I have no job currently and I'm broke. My television's completely broken and so I will either need to pay for repairs or buy a new one. Either way, that will cost me a good few hundred quid.
My Marshall amplifier has also broken. It's in a state that could be fixed but it may cost quite a bit. To make things worse, my favourite guitar also has stopped working properly recently. I think the input jack's damaged or something so I need to pay to get that fixed and I REALLY need it fixed because I have weekly band practises and I imagine soon we may start gigging (when we have 2 more members). My ipod touch earphones also broke recently. There are about 10 games minimum that I intend on buying this year and my friends are asking me to buy a £150 ticket to a music festival.

What's my point? Well, I've been getting reoccuring messages from multiple people on Xbox Live asking "have you got a headset yet?"

GRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


Jesus christ!!!!! I can play games without a f***** headset. I've got to pay hundreds of ££££ to get stuff fixed and I have people pestering me to buy a bloody piece of unecessary equipment.

Seriously... I know it's not really their fault but HOW can someone be so obsessive over a mic?

Don't you have some phones with a mini TRS connector? Some cellphones normally brings one with them. I use one instead of the typical headset.

If you connect one of these to your controller you can speak and hear like a normal headset. And it look way more cooler if you ask me =D

I dunno. Mine was free. But i don't think its very expensive.

Thanks a lot. Yeah things are beginning to get better now though. My parents are paying for my guitar & amp repairs so that's cool!! As for the rest of the stuff, well it's up to me lol.

No, the point is that I can't buy one and go along with them. They haven't got any spare tickets, they've just got theirs and they want me to buy one so I can come too and believe me, I really want to!

But in case you wanna know, it's Sonisphere and there are bands like Rammstein (pretty cool), Iron Maiden (AWESOME), Papa Roach (Badass!! Luckily I've already seen them live), Anthrac (very good), Motley Crue (very good), Alice Cooper (amazing!!!), Placebo (ok), Bring Me The Horizon (ok), Gallows (seen them already but they're great live and the mosh pits are brutal!), Madina Lake (ok, I've seen them live already and they're a bit meh) and many others!!!

lol no I hate being in debt.

My friend offered to pay for my ticket to the festival (sonisphere) & said I could pay him back over time but I really didn't want to do that. Nothing's worse than wanting to buy something @ a later date but then deciding not to because you still owe that money.

i almost never get my debts payed back
for example one of my mates owned me like 400 SEK (swedish money)
and well i just said to him that it is cool which i regret now when i know he gets around 10.000 SEK each month

Sonisphere is a good festival, the line-up makes the Download festival look like a joke this year. I think going to go to Bloodstock this year though because Knebworth is a hell of alot further away and way more expensive than what Bloodstock is.

Yeah i know!! Though Download is having Bullet For My Valentine and probably quite a few decent unannounced bands.
