Will Halo 5 meet its expectations?

Don't get me wrong. Im a big fan of all the halo games (except for odst. That sucked). but will reach really bring anything NEW to the table? i mean jetpacks. been done in games be4 and sprint? umm a lot of games have that even though im not a big fan of the feature. i just hope the game is fresh and not just a graphically(did the spell that right?) altered halo 3

It has jetpacks, what more do you want?

A. It's not Halo 5.

B. No, it won't meet expectations, it will exceed them.

C. ODST is a great game and completely underrated.

it is halo reach AKA halo 5.

Halo 2
Halo 3
Halo 3 ODST
Halo reach (its 5th in the list but its not the 5th game O.O, see, i never knew that)

Odst is a double AA game. So its not great. its OK. And it doesnt even have a new multiplayer.


Jet packs? I remember using those things on james bond on the gamecube.

thats your opinion..i hope reach will be much better than odst and halo 3..halo 3 and odst werent breathtaking and "epic" as much as ive played other games.im not saying those games suck.they are amazing just not what people are getting crazy about it..oh well i guess its their opinion

i love all halo games ¨but TES games beats the living shit out of it

ODST got a AA score.that is considered "great".and A score is considered "good".So ODST was a great game and was underrated

Dude since when were AA games only OK. As far as I'm concerned, most AA games are definitely worth playing. 80-89 is not a bad score at all, its just disappointing to hear people judge a game based on the fact that it isnt AAA.

Halo Reach isnt Halo 5 its a prequel to Halo 3 i think Reach will be AAA but i dont think it will get reviews as good as halo 3's i think it will be a little bit lower and it will probably have like a 92-93 on metacritic. HALO REACH RAPED DARK VOID!!!!!!!

Halo 5? Halo 4 has not even come out yet (unless you count Reach which is not even out yet).

People keep bringing this up...mainly ps3 fanboys to be honest.

Look, Halo's always been the best fps franchise.
It has large, well rendered locations.
It has addictive & unbeatable multiplayer experience.
It has loads of vehicles to drive/fly.
It has the "golden triangle of halo" thing, where the guns & grenades & melee are equally as effective, etc


Your concern is how will Reach improve upon it?

More vehicles
Sprint & roll
Less unneccessary grenades & only the useful ones
More game modes
Bigger scale battles
Improved graphics
Better weapon models & redesigns
Better particle effects
Fantastic character creation
Brilliant new matchmaking system
Stealth kills
Darker atmosphere

Those are the main aspects I think.

yes alot of new things are in the halo series but if you look at the bigger picture.... its a lil different.

You must be new to gaming, kid.

Stealth kills uncharted 2 and mgs 4? yeah, those two were the prime creators of stealth kills ,clearly. Not to mention both those games improved themselves so much more than what apparently Reach will.(sarcasm, if you didn't get it)

Every sequel build upon the previous games, adding little or big features.

There will be a new story, darker athmosphere, etc, all the points Demondragondude mentioned, regarding the singleplayer.

Multiplayer wise, there will be lots of new abilities, from what we can tell, which, even if they have been done in the past or not, haven't been done in Halo, and in conjunction with the other gameplay elements of Halo, will probably be enough to make it feel fresh.

It is an awesome game.but when people see the "overpriced" rant,they start saying the game sucked and all

Halo ODST's Campaign is actually better than Halo 3's.Se,Halo 3 succeded on it's multiplayer yet it's campaign didnt live up to Halo Ce's or Halo 2's.But ODST,an expansion was too improve the Halo 3 campaign.

Halo ODST was overpriced(not by a big ammount) but it still doesnt mean cit is a bad game.The pricing was Microsoft's fault,not the game itself

ODST was a pretty average game imo. I rented it for a week, played it for 3 hours, could'nt get in to it and brought it back that same day and rented Skate 2 instead.

It was just so boring compared to Halo 3.
