| I was playing Mass Effect 2, and the screen suddenly it just says "Please reconnect controller", and the my wired controller stopped working alltogether. It know it's not broken because everytime I turn the 360 on the green ring lights up, but it doesn't get assigned one of the controller slots because after the ring lighting up, the ring becomes black.
Has anyone else had this problem? How can I fix this? | |

| Get a wireless one  nah I haven't heard of this ever happening. sorry. |

| If it doesn't get assigned to any of the controller ports than its likely that there a problem with the wired connection and not the controller itself. Not much you can do about that sorry. | |

But the lights do light up when I turn my 360 on | |

| I had a wired controller die on me a few months ago. Sometimes static discharge can effect your controller. Are you playing in a room with carpet or without? | |
