So frequently when a game doesn't have the ability to jump at will, it gets a pretty poor reception from gamers and sometimes sales too.
Seriously, have gamers gotten so shallow that they require an option to jump like a retard whenever they want, just so they can enjoy the game?! lol
Admittedly, I love jumping in games myself but it's hardly necessary.

Do you really need a jump button? Honestly.

Btw, remember none of these games have a jump button:

Well I mean for certain games like Gears having a jump button would just be wierd...

Jumping adds more of a vertical element for the gameplay that is not really seen in games like Mass Effect 2.

Depends on the game. Games like CoD or most FPS's should but Gears and Mass Effect would be wierd with jump buttons.
