As it stands today: worldwide PS3 total: 38.1 million global 360 total: 41.7 million.

The worldwide totals look a little too fishy. The X360 slim sales sky rocketed, the PS3 jumped from like 35 million to 38 million in a couple months,......hmmm

35-38 is not fishy, 3 million from jan-june worldwide is not hard to do. also keep in mind the "slim" was out middle of june so not much of the full effect is counter yet especially in Europe which launched in july and was big there.even in japan they are doing better so far. by around now i'd imagine it's already back to about 4 million and by this fall it will be 6-7.

Whatever, I don't care that much about sales. But it would be interesting to see a close victory from either side.
