| Silent Protagonists let you better assume the role of the main character. I actually like it when they do this. When I played Chrono Trigger I actually felt like the other characters actually gave a shit about me. Maybe it's because I renamed Chrono so he could have my name. I know how creepy this sounds. | |

Well,there is lots of land formations that I personally havnt seen yet in real life that are on Reach.And also,if you read the Reach preveiws,Reach isnt just gonna be like Earth.Bungie are literally putting in alien wildlife species in the game,like the Moa and Geurta.The Geurta will actually attack you and it takes some firepower to take it down(there are some pics of it on IGN Reach screenshots).Yes,that definitly is just like Earth......Oh I just proved this guy in the article fails. Actually no,it is good for the player to know from the beggining that no matter what they do,it ends in tragedy.Its a very good change in pace in storytelling.and you also got to consider that many peopel out there havnt read the Halo novels so they dont know what happens with Reach. | |

| I read the article. I totally understand where he's coming from. Well, I do have a different mindset than him. This was a really good read though. Reach looks really fun, and I'm patiently waiting for it, and I know reach isn't anything groundbreaking like the first two games, that doesn't mean it can't be a very enjoyable game to play. I'm sure Bungie will make sure everything is well polished. | |
