There are so many. Here are just some examples:
Avenged Sevenfold Disturbed Children Of Bodom Bullet For My Valentine Lamb Of God In Flames Slipknot Atreyu Pantera Edguy Bloodsimple
It's weird though..... these bands didn't appeal to me and now I love most of them. I don't know why!!!! Every single one of those, I had heard either from a friend, saw live or just heard on the internet and I disliked. Then a while later somehow I actually really got into them!
Some of those are my all-time favourite bands.
This seems like a kind of pointless thread but it's interesting. The style of music that appeals to me just changed over time.

All the bands you have listed have the potential to be on the same list of my own, but I am still at the "hating" stage.

I can't really think of any bands that I hated first but then liked. I don't usually "hate" a band.
Some albums I don't really like first but after a while they grow on me. The Fat of the Land by The Prodigy was one of those albums.

I'm not a huge fan. I just like their 10,000 fists and Indestructible albums.

Oh alright. Well seeing as you don't "hate" (I just mean a band that doesn't appeal to you) any band, then listen to metal!! >:] So many people just avoid it when they probably really do like it. (I was one of those people....and I'm pretty sure GGM is too. lmao)

If you want good hip-hop that isn't all about bitches and hoes and money and guns, listen to A Tribe Called Quest.
Also, more good hip-hop that is a little "bitches and hoes", but some of the best in genre. RZA is my favourite hip-hop producer, and one of my favourite producers in all music.

Another good group is The Roots.
NWA is also pretty good.
K-OS is alright, but this is the only song of his I know.

I also like NWA, but they aren't good if you are opposed to the misogynistic side of hip-hop.

"Back on the Ave of Lavonia and Bristol with a pistol Stickin' up Pamela and Crystal You know your town is dangerous when you see the strangest Kid, come home from doin' the bid and nuthin' changes
What is the meaning of crime Is it criminals robbin' innocent motherfuckers every time? Little shorties take walks to the schoolyard Tryin' to solve the puzzles to why is life so hard
Then as soon as they reached the playground, blaow! Shots ring off and now one of them lay down It's so hard to escape the gunfire I wish I could rule it out like the umpire
But it's an everlasting game And it never cease to exist Only the players change"
Gza - I Gotcha Back
Maybe some of it, but I think that these lyrics are a lot more interesting, more clever and "deeper" than these:"Ashes burning, you can smell it in the air, Cause men like you have such an easy soul to steal. So stand in line while banging numbers in your head, You’re now a slave until the end of time And nothing stops the madness turning, haunting, yearning, pull the trigger!" Avenged Sevenfold - Nightmare

Oh and by the way, that song is meant to be about a nightmare. It's not supposed to make much sense or be "deep". It's meant to be weird. You know, like dreams are...
Btw let's look at one of your favourite band's songs.
Quote :
Lady Supermarket with an apple in her basket Knocks in the manager's door; Grooning to the muzak from a speaker in shoe rack Lays out her goods on the floor; Everything she's chosen is conveniently frozen. Eat it and come back for more!
Lady Window Shopper with a new one in the hopper Whips up a chemical brew; Croaking to a neighbour while she polishes a sabre Knows how to flavour a stew. Never need to worry with a tin of 'Hurri Curri': Poisoned especially for you!
No use to complain If you're caught out in the rain; Your mother's quite insane. Cat food cat food cat food again.
Lady Yellow Stamper with a fillet in a hamper Dying to finish the course; Goodies for the table with a fable on the label Drowning in miracle sauce. Don't think I am that rude if I tell you that it's cat food
Oh my.... so deep, so emotional. Cat food. :') What a wonderful masterpiece!!
Yeah, unlike you I don't judge musicians upon their Languge talent but actually their musical talent.

I assumed you were referring to rap being lyrically shallow, with the themes of a lot of rap being purely misogyny and money.
I give you props for managing to pick a song from my second least favourite King Crimson album, I'm going to guess you tried to find the worst possible lyrics of the band. I judge music on whatever I hear, both lyrics and music. Some things I listen to more for lyrics (rap included, although the music and production of lots of rap is great, Bob Dylan) and some I listen to mostly for the music (King Crimson, Miles Davis, Yes, Genesis).
Here are some King Crimson lyrics I like.
Your admirers on the street Gotta hoot and stamp their feet In the heat from your physique As you twinkle by in moccasin sneakers
And I thought my heart would break When you doubled up at the stake With your fingers all a-shake You could never tell a winner from a snake but you always make money
Easy money
With your figure and your face Strutting out at every race Throw a glass around the place Show the colour of your crimson suspenders
We would take the money home Sit around the family throne My old dog could chew his bone For two weeks we could appease the Almighty
Easy money
Got no truck with the la-di-da Keep my bread in an old fruit jar Drive you out in a motor-car Getting fat on your lucky star just making
Easy money
King Crimson - Easy Money (From the album Larks' Tongues in Aspic)
On the subject of being "weird" or "not supposed to make much sense", I wouldn't describe the lyrics to Nightmare either of those things. The lyrics were extremely literal and easy to understand.

You could read his lyrics to someone who has never heard a Bob Dylan song, and they wouldn't even know it was a song. It's just so poetic. I love "All Along the Watchtower".
"There must be some way out of here," said the joker to the thief, "There's too much confusion, I can't get no relief. Businessmen, they drink my wine, plowmen dig my earth, None of them along the line know what any of it is worth." "No reason to get excited," the thief, he kindly spoke, "There are many here among us who feel that life is but a joke. But you and I, we've been through that, and this is not our fate, So let us not talk falsely now, the hour is getting late."
All along the watchtower, princes kept the view While all the women came and went, barefoot servants, too.
Outside in the distance a wildcat did growl, Two riders were approaching, the wind began to howl
Great song on the values of human life.

I agree, and John Wesley Harding is a brilliant album that never gets talked about as much as many others. I think Blood On The Tracks is about as perfect as an album can be.

My favorites are John Wesley Harding, Planet Waves, and Highway 61 Revisited. I also love Hendrix's cover of "All Along the Watchtower". It's possibly the greatest cover ever done in the history of music. I think it's about as good as the original.

I haven't heard Planet Waves, my favourites are John Wesley Harding, Blood on the Tracks, Bringing It All Back Home and Desire. I think Highway 61 Revisited would be up there if I didn't over-listen to it.
