What's wrong with Halo Reach matchmaking?

On my game it says there are only 483 people online, yesterday it said there were only 30,000 people, I checked every few hours and the number steadily decreased- 26,000-23,000...

And my games are laggy as all hell. I'm fine in other games, and on speedtest.net my connection is great. Is anyone else having problems with Reach?

Haven't played today but I have noticed a few days ago it said there were 4 people online -_-

For me the only issue is that sometimes players that I have not muted appear to be muted in the lobby.

I know lol. But I found a slayer game pretty quick....and it had all 8 people... it was a fail.

343 tweeted that there was a slight problem with matchmaking but it should be fixed now.

IT IS!!!! Sometimes I get killed within a second of spawned and it won't let me boot them, but when I throw a grenade and some tard on my team runs into it and dies he boots me -_-

It's based on how much friendly fire you deal on your team mates throughout the game. If you are shooting at the enemy but you keep on hitting your team mates, that increases the chances of you being booted.

I was on a revenant today, I was getting shot at by DMRs like all hell so i backed up and accidentally splattered one of my teamates and got booted. I still don't understand why Bungie doesn't make some modes with blowback like in Lost Planet 2. Like getting crashed into or explosions by a friendly will knock them back but won't cause damage. Friendly Fire is a pain in the ass sometimes. It's just a game, Friendly Fire should be left to the "pros".

Well Bungie just confirmed in their weekly update that its going back to the Halo 3 system.

Bullshit bootings is whats wrong.

I use a Target Desginator on a group of enemys and a idiot player runs into the blast making me betray him and boots me.

I called him a idiot for it and calls me a jew and a faggot. Really cool.
