Ok mate. I'll just say that if MW2 was your first CoD game, then your argument is going to be very flawed in this sense. If you have been playing since the early Call of Duty's then you would have known that not much has changed at all. It's not innovative like you said, and the main reason for releasing it every single year is the profit motive, that is the exact definition of milking a franchise.

Grand Theft Auto is one of the highest selling franchises of all time but Rockstar don't release a new GTA game every year, you know why? Because they care about quality. Red Dead Redemption sold extremely well as hell, I can guarantee you we won't see a follow up to that for a long time.
