| I have a DS with a acekard. It's great I can put all kinds of stuff on it. Even roms.
The DS is just a better handheld. The PSPgo might be better, but I don't like download only stuff. I like to have a real game that I can hold in my hand.

PSP is still a solid handheld. It annoys me when people call you a fanboy, Yet you give praise to a system when it's needed. Anyway for me it's the DS.

| Psp is for gamers like on 360 and ps3, ds is for casual gamers like wii owners so thats why i prefer the psp | |

that’s not a fair comparison ds has some good games well you may have two look back to gameboy for some but ds should not be under rated anyways the main reason I think its superior is because of zelda which imo is the best franchis

| Well obviously when it comes to ps3 vs 360 I give Microsoft the medal and give Sony & Nintendo the middle finger but when it comes to handhelds, despite a few decent titles on ds I really do prefer the psp a lot more. Ok, it has a lot less games than ds but I feel that the best psp games are a lot better than the best ds games. They just tend to be a lot more solid, have a much more polished and satisfying gameplay and really pack more punch. My favourite PSP games are games the ds can't even dream of handling, not to say the ds is bad, I just prefer the psp a lot more. I can even play pc games on my psp through usb or wlan. (including gta IV and world of warcraft without lag! lol) I can also emulate ps1, gba, gbc, nes, dos/old pc games and many other games perfectly and quite a few n64 games without lag. | |

Eg: Zelda has got the whole top down thing back, gta had the whole top down thing back, etc. If only they kept the N64's style with most games then perhaps I would actually prefer ds to psp but as it stands, psp can get ps3 gameplay and ps2 graphics. Proof? Assassins Creed Bloodlines (upcoming) Little Big Planet (upcoming) Gran Turismo (upcoming) God Of War Chains Of Olympus Syphon Filter Resistance Retribution and so on. It even gets a lot of wii ports which ds almost never gets. Also, I noticed that ds owners tend to overrate their games quite a lot. For example, Harry Potter 6 is the same game on ds and psp. Critics gave the game on both systems about 4/10. Psp owners felt the same sort of way about the game and gave it about 3 or 4 out of 10 whereas ds owners somehow rated it 7 or 8/10! I'm not "insulting" the ds or anything, its a good system but I am just criticising where criticism is due. lol If you disagree with what I've said or anything I said is wrong, sorry and please feel free to respond.

| I like the DS now because of the RPGs, but I used to have a PSP until it just stopped working. The PSP had some great games. Crisis Core and God of War come to mind.
Right now, I'm waiting to see if Scribblenauts is any good. I guess I could now because I have a CycloDS but I'm going to buy it because it looks decent.
I wish DS had Patapon though, love me some patapon.
EDIT: pspvampire
While I like the DS, I totally agree. After having a PSP for so long, the DS feels watered down. It's also so much easier on PSP to watch movies and play music. I have a CycloDS so I'm lucky to be able to do all that but others aren't as lucky unless they get it modded.
I actually liked the PSP homebrew scene more than the DS too.

I've never owned a ds but I've played them a lot, even my brother owns one and when I got a psp...well, he stopped playing his ds and was playing my psp all the time xD Eventually he bought his own and now he never uses his ds for anything except for the alarm clock feature. But yeah I guess there are some titles on ds that psp will never get (Scribblenauts).

| lol psp vampire i knew u would be all over this topic ;p I was a ds boy but thats just because i got it as a gift. Then i gave it away and got myself a psp and I love it. For me its gaming abilitys are hardly ever used as I have got custom firmware on it, I can use it to its full potential which includes, a movie player, a book (can read pdf files), an internet device, a second monitor for my pc, a remote control and a music player. I see it as a netbook but smaller and if I could get a keyboard for it, maybe the 360 chatpad mod, I would use it as such.
Then the games come into it and leap this little wonder miles ahead of the ds, the graphics are awsome, the gameplay is just the way I like it and the titles are great. Its the one and only gaming product I would buy from sony and imo they should just stick to the handhelds.

| I also like PSP more than DS, just my preferance. I also love Pokemon to bits so the DS isn't half bad. I was thinking of getting a PSP go since my 3000 got dropped onto tiles like 346.449 times but then I though $250 (R3000 in our currency) for a handheld? Nah. Still, PSP is the best handheld I have evr owned. | |

| Lol, the only thing that I used my DS for was for Super Mario 64 DS, but with DeadalusX64, I can play it on my PSP. Now, after I beat KH: 368/2 Days, I will probably sell my DS. DS seems like it's for kids, 12 and under, and PSP seems like it's for ACCTUAL gamers, 12 and up. Well, as much as I like Nintendo, Sony made a better hand held. When AC: Bloodlines comes out, I'm never going to put my PSP down, yet when AC DS came out, I felt violated. LOL PSP RULES
