The Canadian developer sees similarities between COD's progression and Dragon Age's foundations

With Dragon Age II’s release imminent, senior producer Fernando Melo feels the sequel has far more reach than Origins, even potentially attracting the same kind of crowd that flocks to gaming’s biggest franchise, Call Of Duty.

I can understand wanting lots of money but besides that fact why the fuck would anybody want that shitty god awful fanbase? according the the article assassins creed and cod are RPG games so idk wtf is going on here.

Just another example of news twisting a developers words. The developer never explicitly stated that they wanted Call of Duty players to play Dragon Age. He just believed that a segment of the huge audience that plays games like Fallout, Assassins Creed and Call of Duty would probably enjoy Dragon Age
