MS to remove party chat option from upcoming titles

I agree with that 100% Alot people NEED to communicate for alot of games and many don't. L4D for an example is a game you MUST communicate to survive!

i dont like this one bit can someone tell me if this is a reliable source ?

So it's just the online multiplayer games?

1. its the devs choice, MS is merely giving them an option

2. Its so people cant cross chat when they are on opposite teams, giving eachother pointers and intel on the enemy.

I remember me and my cousin doing that all the time in Gears of War. He would private chat with me and tell me where the last member of his team was hiding.

its not like its out of it completely.... there are playlists like team deathmatch that allow partys.. and it lets you know what ones... i've played MW2.... and being in game chat is much better then party while play it... i dont really see why people are making it such a big deal... if you wanna chat with your friends find somthing else to do

its only on hardcore team deathmatch and hard core search

I think its a good thing, I hate cheaters. Today I was playing S&D on COD$ and both teams had one player left and guess what? Those two people were working together!

This will stop cheating.

i am not gonna lie i hate this i love party chat but if it will excist in games like halo im satisied

thats why i love l4d you just click the analog stick where the weapons are and he shouts weapons here.

I never cheat, cheating just shows your unskilled and incapable of winning a game fairly.

today i was playing MW2 free for all and some fag glitched in the match with his friend just to get the nuke. that's where i would like the chat option removed, or at least make it so you can't use party chat with players in the same game. But private chat still works though, i use it in domination and team death match so i don't have to hear other people bitch and moan.
