Nobody does visual effects like the PGR team. PGR4 still has the best weather and driver visuals, yes even better than Forza 3 and it goes without saying better than GT5. Forza has the best physics and will always, but PGR has the best graphics and I expect PGR5 to look so good it will melt the faces off GT5 fans the moment the screen shots are releases. Then when the videos start to leak it will literally blow their mind. Yes that's right, you heard it here first. They will shoot themselves in the head with a high caliber pistol just to not be forced to live ina world with the godly visuals of PGR5 that make GT5 look like the PS2 game it is.

I loved PGR2 more!!
Ive never played PGR3
I like PGR4, its a fun game.
PGR3 and 4 is not that good looking by any standards, they may have cool effects but they are just decent in graphics. I dont thing PGR5 will look better then Forza3 since the big point of PGR is to race in different conditions, for example: snow, rain, fog and dusk.
Now to render water effects takes alot of power from any platform, i even get better FPS when im in the woods in Crysis compared running along the shoreline, due to shaders.

Pgr5 will be awesome. I find it hilarious how brownies make up the term 'flopza' for forza 3, when forza 3 hit 1 million in less then a month. Brownies are so stupid, and they're probably shooting themselves in the face right now over Forza 3 hitting 1 million. I'm sick of these stupid terms they make up.

Theres only one racing game selling more then 1 million in the first month, and its: GranTurismo 3, and its sold about 1,5 or 2 millions. Its the best sold game ever on a Sony system.
Im still going to get GT5, have always liked them, but they cant compare the Forza series, i mean they use the same tire squeal in all of their games, ALL!! from GT1 to GT5P and the current version of GT5. The sound is awful in the games. For example, have anyone heard a tuned 5 cylinder engine?* It can be compared to a V10, but in GT4 they have 12 5-cylinder cars, and they all sound like Hondas... Most cars have very poor sound, but some cases they have great, for example most Japanese cars especially race cars.

The tire sound has changed for GT5. Kazunori Yamauchi (lead game developer) said this in an interview a while back and you can hear the difference in this video at the end https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8QZacNDd6vI and its a welcome change I have to admit.
Both of the Volvo 850r and the S60r videos have aftermarket exhausts so that's not a fair comparison on the GT4's S60r video and the sound quality is very poor too.Here's top gear testing a stock S60r. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zUQDmF3viOE the tire squeal is louder then the engine. But I do agree with the Audi Quattro video,GT4's Quattro could sound better, as should a few more cars in GT4, so its a good point.
