I think the reason that some people call this one a expansion and disapprove it, is that they fear the first L4D is gonna lost support from Valve and focus they're attention os L4D2. Valve already stated that they're gonna continue giving support on both games, so theres no need for more bitching and whining....

L4D2 does own the first by a LONG SHOT.

I loved that article, it's complete ownage. I have L4D2, and compared to the first one, it's night and day.

You get to play as new boss zombies and when you play as the survivors, it requires that you always be on the move. In the 1st game when you play as the survivors, you could camp until the Tank appeared.
