Just wondering, what is the best game engine out there? Who makes the best graphics cards? And what company is developing the new xbox graphics card?

I heard Microsoft is developing all of their own chips, but they may outsource the production to another company.

https://xboxrepublic.forumotion.com/xbox-360-news-f11/ati-radeon-hd-5970-world-s-fastest-graphics-card-confirmed-good-thing-ms-has-ati-on-board-for-the-next-xbox-t1095.htm

Best game engine? Has to be Cry Engine. Best gfx card maker? Ati. They are ahead of the curve with their GPUS. They are th first to have Dx11, eyefinity(multiple-display support), etc. Plus their radeon hd 5970 is a beast. By the time the next Xbox comes out there will be several new engines out. Crytek is working on a new engine for 2012, same with epic games etc. When the next Xbox is announced expect it to have Directx12 support, shader model 5.0+ etc. Also, they'll demo 1st party engines, and then show off gears of war 4 on it with epics new tech, and possibly a new crysis with the new engine.

Best game engine today is Cry Engine 2, i have to agree with Panda. But CE 3 is a downgraded version to fit on a console. CE4 is in development and will be launched 2012

Will it be compatiable with the next consoles.... Xbox "720" and PS4 or solely for PC?
