PS3 sucks and here is why

I have one so this is all the truth. I'm also thinking about making vidoes like MLD soon. Here is why ps3 doesn't even compare to the awesome XBOX 360.

Games- Most of the games have no soul or identity. They seem to try to be like xbox games but they aren't.

online- online fucking sucks. Most people don't have mics or talk. Also every server is separate and not unified like xbox. It has inconsistency features like some games have good features and some don't. "psn" sucks period.

Forced installs- the worst thing ever. since blu ray is slow as hell they have forced installs to make the speed on par with the so called "inferior" dvd. Most of the games have forced installs that range from 1-5 gigs,your hdd will be full very soon and you are forced to either buy a bigger hdd or delete the games but then you cant go back to play them without installing it back and forth.

Controller-it sucks,the handles are too short and the analogs feel cheap and very loose. The "triggers" suck and the analogs make your thumbs slip since it's not concave like 360.

Interface-xmb is ok but other things are terrible. Just click on someone's profile and see what i mean. Everything looks amater and thrown right away instead of putting thought into it. Profiles are big and ugly with some weird clear line half way of your avatar and it looks generic overall. They even made the friend list look worst than it already was. Also when a friend signs in you get some ugly generic gray bar which is just plain ugly.

Multiplatform games- They are always inferior to the 360. If it's not worst graphics or frame rate it's inferior online by default,etc

These are the reasons why ps3 sucks and doesn't even come close to xbox 360. I have one and am not lying at all.

PS3 controller was designed for Asian hands.

xbl is not just cross chat and invites.it's all integrated into one. universal mute in any game,1 server connected with all features being the same. tru skill. xbl is about 1 universal intagrated service,you just don't get it. Go try it and see for yourself. psn is free because it fucking sucks. there's simply no excuse. my reasons are valid,who the fuck wants shitty online with no one talking at all and and FORCED installs.there is no way to spin forced installs.

Seriously,i can't believe there are people who settle for crappy online,interface and forced installs.i also laugh my ass off when tehy bring up web browser lmao. who the fuck will do that on a console when they have a pc? CONTROLLERS = Controllers are all about preference, xbox controllers are pretty good, only problem is the suck for fighting games, the d-pad is extremely unresponsive..ps3 contollers are a bit small but work well with any game..BUT they dont require batteries..=)

MUTLIPLATS = Generally mutlliplatform games run better on the 360 becuz games are developed on the 360 first rather than the ps3, Reason why? becuz blurays hold so much morre space, if a game was developed on a ps3 blu ray, then ported over to the 360 dvd, multiplats for the 360 would require multiple discs..although it is true that most multiplats run better on the 360, it is not true in all cases, for example, GTA 4 and BATMAN AA run better on the ps3 than the 360..

BOTH SYSTEMS HAVE THEIR UPS AND DOWNS, STOP BEING FANBOYS, IF ANYTHING U SHOULD BUY BOTH CONSOLES, AND ENJOY THE GREAT GAMES BOTH SYSTEMS HAVE TO OFFER!!!

what do u mean by shitty online..features or online servers? i already stated that xbl has a few features over the psn..but psn servers run better than xbl servers mainly when it comes to exclusives..,(multiplats run the same on both consoles) ps3 exclusives run on dedicated servers where as xbox games generally run on p2p servers..xbox owners pay for their online, they should be getting the dedicated servers, but too bad its the other way around..lmao..xD

servers are trash and don't even compare with 360,hell its lucky to compete with wii or dreamcast online. multiplats dont run the same,ps3 either has inferior online or framerate issues. also no one talks which is a big turn off and game invites have to be in the game which is hit or miss and up to the devs.p2p is good especially the way xbox handles it with all the intagrated features.dedicated servers get taken down eventually and you cant play it which sucks. also you need to find a match and go through many hoops just to get a match compared to p2p.psn online is horrible and a poor mans online.

You can use a battery pack,it doesn't require batteries exclusively. It's better like that because when the battery runs out on the ps3 control then you are forced to buy a new one. sony would love to charge you for online but they know they can't because it sucks. dedicated servers are splint which means no universal online service and games will have different options[ ex. some have chat and some don't,some have mute and some don't,etc]

I know i had to pay for that battery pack. Your point? for ps3 you had to pay for component cables and they never gave you some in the box like MS used to. MS is not screwing anyone over,sony doesn't care about you,they can charge but psn sucks tremendously so they know they can't get away with it like MS can. heck sony didn't even want to fix the ps2 DRE problem and was forced to fix it by the court. yea i'm sure they cared for you at that time...

It is better to buy a pack because you can change it instead of throwing away the whole controller to buy a whole new one. p2p is better because servers never get shut down and features can be implemented universal. psn sucks,no one talks,you need to jump many hoops just to get into a game.

i dont mind buyin a battery pack, because atleast the cable that comes with it is long enough that when my controller is about to die i can plug it in to the 360 and have enough slack to sit down on the sofa and play.

with the ps3 u have to pull up ur sofa/chair close to the tv to charge and play at the same time.

btw i have a ps3 also and FROM experience, I agree 1000000% with thread starter
