BRINK new gameplay

Wow. Looks amazing!

Yet another game that puts Uncharted 2's graphics to shame. Did the PS3 fanboys really think 3rd party developers where going to use the Unreal 3 engines forever?

How the hell should i know, both engines are pretty sweet. Somes devs fuck big time with UNREAL for the reasons we all know, but those who get it right are serious bussiness, like Bioshock 2, Mass Effect 2, APB and of course the games from the guys at EPIC.

But iD Tech 5 (i wrongly said id Tech 4 in the previous post, already corrected,) really looks fucking amazing, mostly because it shows us an amazing free roaming open world with so much detail (RAGE and now BRINK).
Something that we had not seen since Crysis or Far Cry 2 and Uncharted 2 is only draw distance, we see but can't go there,lame.

Besides this Gen if very hard to compare engines to try to figure out who is the best. Last generation almost all games that really stood out was those from who only developed for one console, first party or not. This generation is way different. We got Just Cause 2 with the Avalanche engine that kicks some serious ass, plus the guys at Volition, Inc. with Geo-Mod. Crysis engine. MTFramework from CAPCOM. Crystal tools from Square. And they all work well in both consoles. Hell, in fact most of then run better on the XB360. First party companies with they're first party engines, has good has it might be, sooner or later are gonna dissapear. That's why M$ does not have a bunch of first parties like Sony has.

Looks like Brink has been delayed from Spring 2010 to Fall 2010. Now it's going up against Halo Reach. Big mistake.

The game needed to be released sometime people. At least give the publisher the propz for having balls of steel for releasing it near HALO Reach.
Like Assasins Creed II, Uncharted 2 and Left 4 Dead 2 had this year with COD Modern Warfare 2.

Well I know which game I'm going to buy and it starts with a "Halo" and ends with a "Reach". By the time I'm ready for Brink I'll probably buy it used for cheap. If they want me to buy it new they should choose a release date at least 3 months outside of Halo Reach's epic launch.
