Yeah but recently due to college, homework, friends, events and just random life stuff I've only been playing games for short whiles.
But once in a while, mostly on weekends I will spend most of the day gaming.
I also play most genres of games but I admit that most of the time I play through games on Easy difficulty xD

I think so I love a FPS's and a good challenge in games like trying to beat MW 2 on veteran sadly I had to lower it to harden to even come close to beating it

yes. although i think if all you play is shooters your not a real gamer. platformers and RPGs are my favorite games to play.

Im a hardscore gamer,but I love casual games aswell.

Soft-Hardcore Gamer....yeah i know its weird. Well, i'm not that Hardcore-hardcore that plays everyday even if its like only a couple of minutes. Those days are long gone. But i still need my fair dosage of gaming like between 2-3 days / 3-4 hours minimal.
I also only play games either in Normal or Easy. Never on Hard and above. I also don't try getting 100% achivments or trophies either, unless they're easy to do (like the Tresure Hunting on Uncharted 2, but even so i did it by a gamefaq).
MultiPlayer to me is also getting not much attention unless its something co-op.
Cuz i lost my patience really early if i start dying from left to right.

Hardcore, i just about play every genre of games.

I barely play games on the highest difficulty I usually play on normal, but yeah I do have some badass games halo 3,gears of war 2, mass effect, left 4 dead 2 etc

Your kinda correct.You dont need to be someone who wants to always play in high difficulty,achievments ect to be a hardcore gamer.those kinds of people are usaully considered Pro Gamers(Doesnt mean they are always good at the game).

Im someone who plays awesome games all of the time,im a big story and lore geek when it comes to games.Most of the time i play the game for its story.

Im also someone is involved with the gaming kinda world(E3,gaming forums,console wars ect).

So im a hardcore gamer.

A casual gamer is someone who plays game casually.

I'm a casual.. I play all my games on easy or normal difficulty

Well,that doesnt mean your casual.

I play mostly hardcore games, just not for 12 hours a day like some people I know. But I also like casual stuff like Boom Blox and WiiFit too.

In that I beat Ninja Gaiden on the highest difficulty setting, I would say yes.

I got all 120 stars in Mario Galaxy. If that's not hardcore, I don't know what is.
