How many of you are getting FFXIII?

I'm been stuck for a while trying to figure out what system to get FFXIII on. But i've decided to get the 360 version. Multiple disks and compressed sound aren't a big issue for me. And there's a chance the 360 version will have faster loading times cause dvd's fast, and blue rays slow. Hopefully Square-Enix won't pull some dick move and make PS3 exclusive DLC or something.

Besides this way i'll have one FF game on 360 and one on PS3 (Versus)

But what bugs me is that people say things like "The real FF fan will get the PS3 version" Like what? That doesn't make any sense, is it because the last couple games have been on playstation or something?

Anyways i'm wondering how many people will get it. This may be one of the rare non Fighter non Fifa multiplats that will sell better on PS3.

BTW, My Birthday is March 8, Final Fantasy XIII will come out on March 9....SO EAT IT BITCHES!

I won't be picking it up launch day because i have no interest in Japanese games. However ill read some reviews, watch a few vids and talk to my friends and if it seems good, I might give it a try.

Although Square-Enix is only a former shadow of themselves now i still have some hope for the Main Number Final Fantasy games. After Versus, i will never get another spin off.......unless it's a tactics type game.

Oh and FF has never really been Japanese, the characters are some kind of Aryan(white) Maybe some Japanese symbols here and there but that's it. If you hate Japanese games then stay far away from Shin Megami Tensei games lol.

Honestly I don't really expect the 360 version to outsell the PS3 since the 360 install base doesn't tend to purchase JRPG's. But you never know.

ps3 has a way bigger FF and jrpg fanbase and so I expect FF to be one of the only games that sells better on ps3. But you never know....

I'm sure as hell not getting it. I Hate those kinds of games.

I HATE JRPG's they suck compasred to Western RPG's.Like Mass Effect for example.

Final Fantasy 13 is a downgrade imo.I mean,there isnt any towns you can go to,restock or talk to NPC's.I mean,that just sucks.

I watched this trailer of FF13 and couldnt beleive how stupid some of the lines were.Ad it almost looks like the entire game will be waching cutscenes.SquareEnix really needs to learn.

Another reason im not getting it is because Pokemon HG and SS are coming out in march.Im getting those.

I think I'm gonna just go for Fable III at first and then once I've gotten Alan Wake, Splinter Cell Conviction, Crackdown 2, Just Cause and Halo Reach then maybe I'll think about getting Elder Scrols 5 and ME2 xD

I will buy it on the 360. I might not be able to afford it on launch day, but I will get it. It looks amazing to me anyway.

If TESV comes out,GET IT BEFORE FABLE.I mean,it will be so much better.bethesada always makes HUGE improvements from there last TES.
