Don't always assume piracy.I like to think that gamers these days are generally better people. Some stores will sell them to you early if the person at the register is willing. Just ask them and if they say no then just wait a few more days.

However if he got it for the 360 i would not play it when conected to XBL. We all know those guys from France or whatever contry was, who got ODST early at the cost banhammer from M$ in they'res XBL for playing before the release of the game.

I dunno, i think i hear somewhere on the Internetz people getting banned cuz of ODST. I mean except those who are allowed to play the game early like site reviewrs, companys don't like very much seeing they're games out there early than it was stipulated, even if you bought it legally. I mean they have like a really tight policy about it, even for reviewers and Bungie is really tight (IGN review of ODST was only 24 hours before the release of the game).

Bungie cant really do anything about it. Microsoft policies are that if you legitimately purchased the game and you have a receipt to prove it, they cannot ban you. The XBOX Live enforcement team said that themselves. They will sometimes get it wrong but you just file a complain on their official forums and you should be unbanned.

He has a friend that works at an electronics retail store and was able to buy it from him earlier then release date. Sometimes employees will let you buy a game if they have it in stock at Walmart, if they aren't aware of the release date.

ME2 gets released in sweden the 28
