I read about the weapons in their update, and what I am most excited about is of all the hitscan weapons, The AR is hitscan, I love the AR.

Hitscan is where your weapon will instantaneously hit it's target so long as the renticle it on it. The Battle Rifle from Halo 2 was hitscan. This doesn't necessarily mean that the weapon has infinite range.
