Achievements for Mass Effect 2 (your thoughts)

I just wanted to know what you guys think about the Mass Effect 2 achievements.

I personally thought that they were very dumbed down, it might be the fact that EA had something to do with it because Dragon Age also had very easy achievements for a game of that length. Never before have I gotten every achievement in only one playthrough of a RPG type game. Other than Fallout 3 on the PS3.

Compared to Mass Effect they were a cakewalk. I mean Mass Effect made you have to replay the game multiple times if you wanted the achievements.

It's a good thing I am a Mass Effect fanboy and would replay it again and again with or without achievements or I would prolly be selling it lol.

But what do you guys think, where the achievements "too" easy?

As you can see, I like to talk about Mass Effect a lot.

I dont care about Achievments.If i get a achievment,great.But i never play a game or mission over just to get one.

ME2 kick's ME1's ass by a long shot.Who cares about achievments.

Me too. I just started my 2nd playthrough.

The first Mass Effect's achievements basically forced you to play the game about 2-3 times. This time is a lot better because you can do it in 1-2 playthroughs.
But achievements isnt the most important thing.

To some people they are.
I used to be into achievements when I was apart of trueachievments, but I got banned from there for "modding" gamerscore Achievements for Mass Effect 2 (your thoughts) Icon_rolleyes

I know I have a lot of achievements junkies who will play the suckiest games just because they have easy achievements.

No but i think that the achivements where pretty good...

Yeah, they assumed I did because some of my achievments had time stamps that were close together.
And because I have supposedly "unnobtainable" achievments.
Which is BS.

Four of them on Dance Dance Revolution 3 are supposed to be unobtainable.

Well in a music game like DDR they are all possible in some way. But there have been some games like Ghostbusters that had unobtainable achievements. They patched the PS3 version but the Xbox version is still without a patch I think.

There are some multiplayer achievements which are unobtainable because servers have been shut down. The one that comes to mind is NBA 07

I don't care about achievements or Trophies. I never get 100% of everything in a game and I don't care what my Gamer Score is. I play games for the gaming experience and I don't even like the loot collecting games like Fallout, Diablo, and Borderlands. If a gun makes my life easier or more fun I'll go looking for it. If there's a red baseball cap hiding is a secret temple in some side quest that does nothing, but give an achievement point I couldn't care less.

Now they are, but sites like x360a had a special day where everyone got together online to get the achievement. I think they had it on the 30th or 31st. Not sure if 1000 people showed up.

sorry to say im A grade a acheivment whore AND I FOUND mass effect 2 acheivments easy as hell-(still love it though)

I admit,i got 36 of the achievment's on my first profile(i wasnt doing side quests).

But i love easy achievment game's.I dont like having to play the game over again to get achievment's so getting alot of Gamerscore easily is great in my book.
