I South Africa they never ban any game. L4D2 is a 18+ Rated game here so that might be why the AUS rating board banned it because the highest rating in AUS is 15+ I believe?

Yeah they really need to implement a decent rating board in AUS. Funny thing is that games are always "opressed" yet porn is always accepted. In my country I can walk into a normal video store and rent a porno from the rack standing next to the "kids" section, and these are hardcore ones too. I can't understand this "I would rather let my child see a mans penis penetrating a womans vagina then let them shoot evil zombies in a video game." bullshit that is going on.

I find any rating system is bullshit.The ESRB thinks that you need to be 17 to play halo.I laughed at it.Even gears isnt bad for me to play and im 14.

Because theres a such law, you can't sell 18 only games there

Heard about brutal games in Germany and "Killerspiel law" and what caused it? :p Germany will turn to 2nd Australia + they to forbid brutal game development in there territory.... and best of all Crytek HQ is there ^^'

Don't panic guys lot of games got banned there and they returned buy in lighter form, Value will figure out something.

In Games on Demand might be banned too since Live is regionalized, but ebay not since seller is outside of Australia territory and Australian law not effect him

As i said... theres a law that you can't sale 18 only games in territory of Australia, if game gonna be rated for 18 it's dead in Aus. Lot of games got banned in Aus, developers after ban usually do watered version of the game for Australia.
