Halo games (Your top list)

I haven't played Halo Wars so I can't judge it yet.

4. Halo 2 - The weakest in the series. Campaign was fun, but just wasn't up to par with the first game and the multiplayer is amazing and it's really the best thing about Halo 2. Also the weapons don't feel that good compared to the original Halo: Combat Evolved weapons. The first game's weapons just..."felt" better when you fire them.
3. Halo 3 - A big improvement from the second game. Lots of great moments and I loved how Bungie brought back the AR. Equipment is also a cool addition and not too many bad stuff to say, but it's just not Halo: Combat Evolved. Multiplayer is just as addicting compared with the second game.
2. Halo 3: ODST - Yay! The health packs are back and I missed them so much. Like the third game, it's a strong Halo game and the Rookie levels are really fun to play and explore around. Bungie also did a good job of combining the classic Halo gameplay with a "human feel" to it.
1. Halo: Combat Evolved - The reason why I bought an Xbox and I spent so many hours playing this game on the campaign. It's my first Xbox game by the ways and it completely destroy the new Halo games alive. I mean the new ones are great and all, but man it will never deliver an experience like when you first learned the Covenant's most feared enemies, the Flood and the game got so amazing levels: Truth and Reconciliation, The Silent Cartographer, 343 Spark Guilty, and The Maw. The other levels are also great, but it's nothing compared to those four. All of the new version of Halo 1 weapons feel a bit weird to me. For example the new Assault Rifle just doesn't have that raw feeling compared to the old one. All the old weapons felt so raw and very satisfying to use. That's not saying the new weapons aren't fun to use. This game was the modern Doom in 2001 and if you guys haven't experience the first one yet, I recommend you to.

Im not a huge fan of the Halo series, but Halo 1 and 2 were gaimg masterpieces.

Halo 2, because the story was great, gameplay was great, but I hated the cliff hanger. Halo 1 just seemed like they stole the characters and vehicles from Starship Troopers and Aliens, with the Dropships, marine armor, and guilty spark reminded me of that training droid from SW: A New Hope. But I did like the modded multiplayer in PC version of Halo 1 because it started the online shooter revolution that we know today.

Lol,i just did the 1 VS 100 Halo special.I was getting EVERy question right until my stupid connection error thing logged me back into the 1 vs 100 lobby.I lost all my point's.i was close to the top 10 list!!!Oh well.It was fun while it lasted.

I prefer FPS over RTS. Halo 2 had a great story and you got to play as the Arbitor, I still think Halo 3 would have been even better had it let you play as him as well.

Would you laugh if I said I've only ever completed one Halo game and that I've not played Halo 2? lol

halo 2 isnt my favorite i just like the MP maps really

but i love all halos

Thats why halo 3 is at the top of my list because it has an awesome story and an awesome multiplayer. Great campaign+great multiplayer= the best of both worlds. plus the addition of forge and theater is another reason why its at the top for me.
