heres the link for my video review
so lets get started
THE STORY well the story is preety much not existent, except for the marine campaign, when you play as the alien its preety much, free the queen, kill some marines and at the end few predators, and thats it..my biggest complain was the alien campaign was too freaking short,im talking about 2 hours? 2 FREAKIN HOURS? ARE YOU KIDDING ME? but oh well,at least the predator campaign was a bit longer, the predator campaign is 4 hours and the story about the predator campaign,is just basicly kill the predalien, nothing mindblowing or anything, and the marine campaign is just kill the aliens, the marines dont know what kind of creatures the predators are,and they are running scared shtiless from them.the marine campaign is about 5-6 hours. i kinda liked the story with the marines,it starts simple, but as you go on,it reveals alot, and if theres probably going to be avp 2 from the ending for the marine campagin..i liked all the stories,i was a bit bored from the predator campaign but it was good.
so for the story 9.0
THE GAMEPLAY the gameplay is split into 3 different categories,im going to be more precise
ALIEN you are hiding behind shadows and jumping on marines and predators, you can run fast, you can do a execution faster than the predator and you can hide in a empty corner, you can harvest civilians by putting a facehugger in their face and you can also "head bite" which the aliens do after they kill a human, with their tongue they can rip the eyes of the humans
PREDATORS with the predators, you can stab people or aliens, you can cloak as in the movies, you can fire plasma cannon, turn on the heat seaking vision and the alien vision (the green vision) you can also jump if you hold LT and place a marker where to jump,if you really want to jump in a random position, you click A and he does a cool jumping move..as you go on,it gets a bit boring, you cant sneak upon on humans, because they have the motion tracker,if your lucky enough to do a execute move.but its okay, you can also throw blade discs and a the staff (later in the game)..as i said before it gets kinda boring doing the same thing over and over again and i didnt liked the way with every human can notice you are there
MARINES the marines are a typical fps, there isnt alot to talk about, you hold Y to heal yourself and the biggest complain to the marines campaign is..you start really good, its like a survival horror game, then after the first two levels,it kinda falls out when you go to the swamps, the predator boss battle was ok,he was mostly a bitch, you cant see him, when you lower his shield thing, and you are going to for his health,he has a blue bar at the top and down his life, you have to make his red bar go really down, because he will reactivate his shields and you have to lower his blue bar over and over again,it was a fun boss battle, but it was boring you had to do the same thing,as you progress on the story and the levels,it goes back to the survival horror near the last level again..the marine you are playing doesnt have a name and the other marines are refering to him as "rookie" you cant see his face till the end of the game.and he doesnt show any emotion to it,which i really dislike
so for the story 8.3
GRAPHICS the details and the enviroment look awesome (in the first levels of the marine campaign) the jungle is ok,its nothing special and the aliens and the predators are good...but the marines are HORRIBLE,i dont mean by everyone.some of them are good, and the scientists and weylan (the main evil guy in the marine campaign) are ok and sometimes from a different camera look horrible, its kinda, they rushed the character models and it really falls on this segment
so for the graphics 7.9
ENJOYMENT did i enjoyed avp? yes i did it was a enjoyable experience,i like the story, the gameplay is good, well the alien and the marines had the best gameplay, the predator not that good, but it was still fun being invisible..the online is good,i will keep playing it,but its not like cod mw2..and the survival mode is great..
so for the enjoyment 9.0 i enjoyed it alot, and im going to keep playing this, till ff13 comes out
FINAL SCORE FOR AVP: 8.6 its fun, addictive and it has a good mutliplayer, the story is great, and im gonna be excited if AVP 2 is going to be announced, but if you have a fps you havent beaten, dont get this game, its not a MUST-BUY game but its still good,if you dont like avp movies or the comics or even aliens and predator movies at all,i suggest rent it,you will probably have a enjoyable experience..if your a AVP fan definatly get it...
Is the game worth getting? It is getting some bad reviews with only a score of 67 on metacritic. Then again I am a fan of AvP and I dont really have any other fps games that need completing so it might be worth a look. The online demo was enjoyable as well. Good to hear the marine campaign was good because I like playing as the marine.

I love the online on it, especially the Infestation, when you start out as one alien vs up to 17 marines... I scary as hell when there are many aliens in the end.
