| Sigh...Ever since the rise of the popular WW2 series called "Call of Duty", the Medal of Honor series been getting completely overshadowed and it's incredibly depressing. Due to the success of Call of Duty, some people think it's the very first WW2 first-person shooter game when in reality Wolfenstein 3D holds that title. Personally, the Medal of Honor's famous gameplay is very similar to Goldeneye. You sneak around bases, set bombs on important objects, steal useful information, and so on. However, the original Medal of Honor was carefully designed to make sure it wasn't a Goldeneye clone and that it succeed. As time goes on, the gameplay was getting too "old and dated" that it decides to bite Call of Duty's gameplay style. This looks like a new gen game. Graphically and the sound are pretty impressive. There isn't really not much to say to be truthfully honest, It looks like a new gen game. The textures and character models are very solid at best. The sounds are not anything too special to say, but they all sound perfect for the weapons and grenades. The music of Medal of Honor has always been strong in its performance and it still is. There's another remix of its main theme song and a couple of new songs are introduced. Voice acting is very similar to the weapon sounds. Choose your spot! Like my rocket launcher? The gameplay is completely ripped off from the Call of Duty games. You take cover, aim, shoot, you have a group of marines with you backing you up, and when you kill everything, you go to the next spot. This game is somewhat challenging at times, but most of the times it has TOO MUCH trial and error. About 85% of the whole game is trial and error and it just builds so much frustration and sometimes it's a test of patience. There are probably like 3% time where you're alone to bring back the good old Medal of Honor days, but it's done poorly and it just feel very rushed. The nice part of this game is when you play a level, you start off in the air and you can choose your own location to build replay value. There is regenerating life, but it works more like Resistance: Fall of Man where you have four bars and if you lose a bar, you must look for a health pack to regain it back. Also the game has some RPG elements. If you get enough kill with this specific weapon, it adds new attachments to it to keep it interesting. For example, you can have more bullets in your MP40 clip or you can add a scope to your rocket launcher. Sadly, it still feels like Call of Duty at best and it really doesn't feature what the Medal of Honor games are known for. Firing my MP40 just like I did in World At War awhile ago! Medal of Honor had a great run. The original game, Underground, the Allied Assault games, and Frontlines are some of the finest WW2 shooters you will ever play. If you're a die hard Medal of Honor fan, prepare to be very disappointed since EA been just copying the Call of Duty games after Rising Sun, and it just bothers my mind how long they will keep on with this streak. Although it's still fun at times, but this is not Medal of Honor at it's heart and the game knows it Call of Duty fans might like this game or label it a Call of Duty rip off, but in the end, it's Call of Duty: Airborne with the Medal of Honor name tagged on it. 6/10 Is this Call of Duty? The last great Medal of Honor game. | |

It must be European Assault (haven't played it, it never really interested me). I totally recommend you to pick up Frontline with it. | |

| The game felt like a PS2 game with good graphics, but an AWESOME concept. Just felt dated. | |
