Leaked God of war 3 IGN score 10/10

Have you played the demo?

It's definitely a photoshop. Not a hard thing to do.

Is it a hoax? Most likely. IS GoW3 worth a perfect 10? Probably.

I think reviews should be about how good a game is on it's own. If GoW3 is the best button masher beat'em up then it deserves a high score. I'll probably never play it becuase I find button mashers to be tedious. A perfect score for one game doesn't mean it's better than a game with a slightly less perfect score. It just means it is good enough to merit a perfect score.

Let me put it this way.

I played and loved Bioshock which scored better than Halo 3: ODST yet I enjoyed playing ODST more. Both are amazing games.

I think people get too caught up in decimal points. Sure it's good to tally up A, AA, and AAA games, but I just look at them as buying guides and anything about a 7 deserves at least a test run.

Actually the"leaked" MW2 score turned out to be fake.

10/10 usually does not mean perfect game...

GTA IV was given 10/10 and imo it deserved it because I loved what they offered with what they had! It had many flaws and I'm sure GOW 3 will have at least some (possibly glitches etc..)

GOW 3 getting 10/10 does not testify to perfection.

Can't wait to pick this up next week. Even if this is photoshopped which it EASILY could be considering it's a screenshot and the part that would need to be photshopped in is a perfect square, but anyways I'm so f-in psyched for this game!!!

I agree with guilty spark but also genre does play a huge part. Some games will get high scores because they exceed expectations or other experiences of the genre and so, ps3 has an awesome hack n slash game. Good. But we have the best shooters, racers and IMO, the best RPGs and personally I'd take either of those three over the best hack n slash game. Especially since god of war takes almost no skill lol
I can believe that this review is real because god of war is pretty addictive and the graphical upgrade could be what it needed to make it an amazing hack n slash
game, but it doesn't interest me.

GoW III is worth a 9.5, the same score has Bayonetta, no more no less.

Score doesn't mean anything to me, I'll pick it up and see how I feel about it soon enough.

At the end of the day, my opinion is the only one I care about (though I can respect others )...

I don't see why it can't get a 10, just can't say it is 'a 10' myself, I mean because I have not played it yet (complete game).

I think GOW3 will get a massive score in the high 9's but I don't believe any game should ever get a 10/10 as there is always room for improvement.

What blew me away, and changed my mind on the game, was the Titans...especially Kronos...Just one quick question....I played GoW 1 but not 2...will I be lost (story-wise) of story of GoW 3?

Lol bro...I've not played GOW 1 & 2 yet, i only played the PSP version. I dono if you're gonna get lost with the story but for me I decided to buy God Of War 3: Ultimate Edition which comes with all the God of War games in one pandora's box round June after my final exams

Yup, alot. I advice playing GoW II ASAP.

Play GOW2 and GOW Chains of Olympus(helps you understand 2).

10 is too high for something that is the same thing.i doubt it's real.

We'll have to wait a few more days to see if it's true or not. But I think God of War deserves a 10/10 more then GTA or Metal Gear.

it only got a 9.3... and btw it wouldnt say 10.0 it would just flat out 10 look at gta4 for an example
