Metro 2033 Review

at long last..i was anticipating this game for awhile and does it live to the hype? we will find out

THE STORY
the strongest point in the game (for me) well the story is basicly this,world war 3 is up and in 2013 moscow gets nuked,the survivors are hidden in the caves and every day more and more people die of the monsters and the nazis.yes there are futuristic nazis.you play as artyom (or something like that) he is brave guy who his mentor hunter returns from a journey and his home base gets attacked by the monsters and hunter goes to kill them,soon you found out he died and before he died he gave him a dog tag and he said to artyom to go to polis (a big train station) where he should find a guy named miller,the beginning is kinda a bit boring and shallow for me,but when you find miller it gets more interesting and the ending is just OMGWTFBBQ!!! (i had to put that

so for the story

THE GAMEPLAY
the gameplay is shooting,you have few weapons,there isnt a lot of weapons and some of the guns feels a bit stupid,the ak sucks and the first shotgun with the two barrel is horrible,because at the 2nd stage when you shoot when the monsters keep jumping on the rail cart YOU CANT FREAKING SHOOT AND HE IS 2 METRES FROM YOU WTF!! but after that it gets more interesting and the guns feel better,the revolvers are good and they work,when you enter a radiated room you have to put a gas mask,you have a watch that tells you how much you can breath before you cough and you have filters too which extends the oxygen..its like fallout/S.T.A.L.K.E.R/call of duty and the most part the gameplay is great and fun,and people say the AI sucks,they a bit do make some retarded things but its not like people say,the monsters AI are good and the friendly AI can clear a whole room for you,the AI is not awesome nor bad its ok

THE GRAPHICS
the gritty feel of the game is amazing,the enviroment is breathtaking and the post-apocalyptic setting is well done,the characters may look a bit dated from a 2005-2006 game but i dont worry about that,moscow looks awesome with the snow and the metro is well made.the animations are a bit stiff but they are great too,the biggest complain with the graphics is that there is alot of texture pop-ins and sometimes characters move through buildings,but there are only few levels

so for the graphics 9.0


FUN FACTOR
i enjoyed metro 2033,for the most part it lived up to the hype and the ending is kick-ass,the reviewers are pissing me off that they gave the game such a low score and this game is trully one of the most original and fun games this year

so for the fun factor

simply because the story is amazing,the post apocalyptic feel is breathtaking,and the way it continues the story is great,i enjoyed every second of the game,and its a true must buy for every fps fan,no fps fan should miss this,

read the ign review.look at the reasons why he gave it a 6.9.

It's kinda funny because the guy was saying the atmosphere and story was amazing. His review kinda contradicted the final score. The way he reviewed led me to believe he'd give it like an 8.3 or something. The 6.9 literally came out of no where. But it's AA on metacritic so whatever. There's still plenty of good reviews for it.

dude metro 2033 is awesome i'm not even joking it has a great story and setting and the gameplay is better than "okay" and seriously man too human and deadly premonition were are horrible and there microsoft exclusives so dont just say that we like the game just because its a exclusive

its a great game,if your thinking about getting it,i suggest get it,since the game really is fun and the atmosphere is better than any post-apocalyptic game i have ever played and the characters are really good,there are funny characters and i laughed 2 or 3 times

its a fun game, really like it. might play thru again wat are the sales like for this game? i hope it got wat it deserved

People don't buy Halo because of the name, people buy it because of the quality of the product. I have never been disappointed by any Halo product and that includes Halo Wars.

If you want an example of people buying games cause of the name, look at CoD, there has been no improvement since CoD4 but people still buy it like crazy.
