Xbox360 & PS3 improvements.

I am new here will be getting my Xbox360 in a few days ... hopefully ... just wondering what you thing are the weaknesses about the Xbox360 things you would change in a perfect world.

The biggest issue is rrod but it sounds really rare
now

People complain that you need to buy the wifi adapter separately but usually 360s come with ethernet cables so you can plug the 360 directly into a router or a laptop/ computer connected to it nearby.

People complain about the $50 per year but you can find offers In loads of places and remember this is the best online experience evaarrrrrr

People say 360 looks ugly. They clearly haven't seen the huge selection of skins/faceplates!

That's everything covered. You most likely won't be disappointed

lols in a perfect world we wouldn't have 360, PS3 or any other game system out there. we would have a super everything device designed to do everything you could possibly imagine for free.

but i would change/add the hardware so it doesn't break down occasionally. then add a inbuilt power generator with tv screen so i play where ever. on top of that i would make it pack up like a transformer to fit into any conceivable pocket of storage one could think of. then i would combine all games form every single platform so that we have everything. then increase the hardware capablitys to allow for such games. add dedicated servers or just make it so the every one that buys a 360 is given a complementary fiber optic cables so that internet has seamless connection speed. blu ray player also so allow for movies and games to be played as well as hd dvd for company's that would rather stick to the cheaper hd dvd. id have it stay the same price now and natal should be a standard built in feature with xbox live being completely free and any money made from online purchases of games goes straight to people in need to 3rd world contrys or people in disaster zones like hati.

The only thing that I don't really like is the huge power brick, but you can just put that somewhere not visible and it will not affect your gaming experience at all.

i hate the disc sctaches only but rarey happens

All I can think of that is not so good is the RROD.

I was disappointed by the feedback from my last TOPIC it seemed several of you though the Xbox360 was near prefect which is just fanboy crap both systems have MAJOR bullshit so here are some of my views on both console's weaknesses.

Xbox360

- No more reliability issue's.
- No more proprietary accessories.
- No more adverts on XBL.
- No more paying to play online.
- No more Microsoft Points.
- No forced sign in's.
- More 1st party developers.
- Improved Controller.


PS3

- No more huge launch prices.
- No more unnecessary system features.
- No more Bluetooth for online voice chat.
- Create a better mechanism for online voice chat.
- No more installing after download.
- No more inferior multiplatform games.
- More online communication features.
- Improved download speeds.
- Improved Controller.


This is just off the top of my head ... add some more below ... but ... be fucking honest or I will open up a can of whoop ass ... LOL

disk scratches if you make the xbox 360 stand

If you're getting an older model then you have to be careful about scratches and stuff pretty rare but if you turn it on its side it can cause some damage :/

get a newer one they fixed all those problems lol good old microsoft

The Xbox 360 is perfect and if improved would only be more perfect. The PS3 on the other hand is so flawed it should just be scraped and Sony should leave the console market forever.

I think it help that both systems haven't run away as out right market leaders of the Hardcore consoles, so they keep push with improvements and updates all the better for us consumers.

The power brick bugs me. It prevents you from putting your 360 somewhere high up unless you have something to support the power brick. Built-in Wi-Fi would be nice, too. It's no big deal for me now since my 360 is near my router, but I may get a TV in my room soon. I'd be inclined to move my PS3 and 360 to my room, but I don't want to shell out $90-$100 for an adapter. Also, the pop-out disc tray bugs me. I always get nervous that I'll put the game in wrong and it'll be destroyed. Oh, and lack of third-party support bugs me. I really hated buying a 256MB memory card for $30.

I think from a technical standpoint, I like the PS3 better, but I prefer the 360 overall because of its fantastic library of games.

There is a difference between being a fan and being a fanboy/girl. I'm a 360 FAN that prefers the 360 and it's games over the competition, but I respect the fact that the PS3 is competition. Fanboys make it sound like the competing console is nothing but garbage.

PS3 fanboys seem like they are the most annoying, usually because of their large numbers. PS3 fanboys sure do seem like the most insecure, but as MLD puts it they are just butthurt that they went from 1st to 3rd.

But for the record, I don't think sales could ever hide the fact that the PS3 is a quality console.

Two things. One is I cant because my mom already has the Elite coming (from so an email told her, I am aware it could be a scam but my mom did once win a trip to Florida via Email and she actually won and was able to go to Florida), and 2 I am not waiting many months and will not continue to be called "not a gamer". It just bothers me when that happens, it makes me feel bad because I do want to play games again (like I did a year ago, but my brother is a hog now). Sorry if I seem Emotional. But as I said in a previous post I am not really interested in a slim 360.

Well unlike the PS3 which will never get free party chat, you can get a play and charge kit for cheap. As for Wifi, just get a cheap long ethernet cord from newegg.com. It's better than slow wifi.
