What do you think looks better overall?

Um there are much better screenshots for god of war, turismo, Mgs, Medal of honor for ps2.
But comparing those pictures i guess the psp but the ps2 is legitimately better in terms of graphics.

PS2 is slightly better in overall graphics. I've played games like star wars battlefront and god of war on the psp and they looked worse than there ps2 versions

there are some games that looked worse on ps2 and some games that looked worse on the psp,take syphon filter on ps2 and compare it to the ps2 games,the ps2 looks better,but take gt on psp and compare it to gt4 and gt3,you will see gt on psp has better graphics,basiclly,they are similar in graphics

Yeah I know I obviously cherry picked the screenshots that made the psp version look better lol but still, if psp can even match the ps2 in some areas it shows what an impressive handheld it is!

There was a Syphon Filter game on ps2? I didn't know that. I thought there was only psx and psp SP games.

The PS2 looks better, sorry. Well, Monster Hunter looks better on the PSP, but that's it. Besides, you're comparing games from all over the PS2's lifespan. Of course early PS2 games will look worse than PSP.

And why mention co-op? We're comparing graphics. Unless you know that MGS3 is better than Peace Walker (which it most likely isn't).

just remember that the ps2 graphics are stretched out on a full screen tv and the ps2 still looks slightly better exept the peace walker mgs looks better on psp

What? Your comparing one of the best games ever to a game thats not even out!!! Ever since Kojima brought MGS to the PSP its been fail...and it breaks my heart.

Yeah but it's still impressive that a handheld can look as good as or even better than even an early ps2 title!

And I mentioned Co-Op because I imagine that if there was good graphics AND 4 player co-op that there would be some slowdown so you would expect some drawback in graphics in order for the game to run smoothly but funnily enough.... it still works fine.

No way, I never liked MGS games till I bought a psp.
I loved Metal Gear Solid Portable Ops online mode. It's just so cool!

Peace Walker, Kojima said is the real MGS5 and I reckon it will be the best in the series thanks to the lovely co-op features. Then again I've only played a few MGS games so I cannot be for sure XD

Obviously Snake Eater is better than Peace Walker. I think I got confused when I put that part in parentheses.

Vice City was amazing on the PS2. Graphically however it was superior on the PC and Xbox.

you also have to keep in mind the the psp games are on a smaller screen so they have a higher resolution, if you put them side by side on televisions the psp version would look much worse than the ps2 game
