Ah shit, Splinter Cell Conviction: AA

This is Edge's review score for Conviction

That sucks. I hope the game's still good anyway. The demo seemed like AAA!!
Well I've not heard of Edge before today so perhaps the better, more reliable sites like IGN or Gamespot will give it higher ratings.

The guys from IGN are making movies about Conviction every couple days showing new stuff. The guy that make them always sound so excited about the game that almost is disturbing. I guess is gonna give it 9 or 9.5.

Maybe 9.6 like Mass Effect 2 & Uncharted got overall

edge are always the people that thumb down scores..they gave mgs4 a 8 and infamous a 7..which is freaking stupid..they sometimes do make a score thats similar or same with other reviewers but they also are one of the stupid people that will rate down games

Am I the only who likes EDGE's review score? So many games now get 9's and 10's... it's pathetic. 8 is still good from EDGE though.

Chaos Theory, the acclaimed Splinter Cell is AAA on Xbox and EDGE give them a 8. So there still is high chances of this one be AAA too. One review dictates nothing

Edge is just one publication. I'm sure it will get a lot of AAA scores around the board

i hope ur right. a AAA game would be nice

an 8 from Edge is godly and even if it was only AA which is highly unlikely its still a great game

It often seems like overall scores trend with IGN, even though PS3 fanboys bitch about it. IGN says it's AAA and so metacritic will probably end up between 90 and 92 for Conviction.

The game is fast paced, fun, with better AI than the demo, MP kicks ass, has stealth (don't let anyone tell you different) & Mark and execute is to be timed correctly but when it is makes you look like a pro.

I really don't care about the scores, the game is awesome in my eyes (and I'm playing it).

A game would have to be next to divine to get a 9 from Edge.

funny coz most of you guys were hyping this game as a AAA game. Still gonna get it. I've always wanted this game

well the game has an 87 on metacritic so far, so theres still chances it will reach a AAA status, but judging from the reviews i think its gona stay AA.

I don't care what other people rate it, this game is great! I almost beat it in one sitting and I just got it! I cannot put the controller down.

The annoying thing about a lot of these reviews and especially the gamespot review, is that they are marking it down because of the decreased stealth options compared to the previous Splinter Cell's. I don't think that reviewers should be comparing to the older games because Ubisoft have said from the very start that this game will be in ways a different genre from the others. The old Splinter Cells were pure stealth, but now its a stealth-action game and at some points can even be called a third person shooter.

It shouldn't be reviewed because of how it doesn't do that well as a pure stealth game, it should be reviewed because of how much it excels at stealth action.

AA is still good last time I checked lol. I never let reviewers sway me one way or another. I've bought games that were A or less and loved them. Reviews are other peoples opinion. let them be, hopefully truth will police them

the game is freaking amazing,i suggest anyone should buy it,because it really is amazing,i think mld is a guy from the future,he said that scc wil be a high and it is..just wow
