The Reach beta is up!

Im putting this in the console war so everyone can see it just to tell you guys you can get it through ODST

I can't even get in a game anymore, like wtf? They must of put retards in charge of managing the beta if they didn't realize that there would be a shit load of people downloading it and lagging everything up.

When you think about it it's a good thing cause at launch the game won't have a shitty multiplayer like Gears 2. And on that topic Epic Games should do a beta for Gears 3 because I can almost guarantee that the multiplayer will be a sack of horseshit if they don't beta test it.

You'd expect Bungie and Microsoft to be prepared for this. I mean this is Xbox Live, not PSN where online games crash on day of release.

I am sure they expected a lot of people but you can never know exactly how much. I wouldn't worry about it.

its beta not a new released game. you should be thankful that they crashed now during the beta and not when the game comes out. this is what the beta is for to fix problems that they cant fix without testing it out on xbox live.

Besides MW2 I cannot think of a time where that happened. PSN is still good. But it doesn't matter if it is XBL or anything, brand new servers will go out most likely in the first 24 hours in a BETA

Yea, I am actually waiting for my cuzin to get online and play.

The beta is awesome and the servers are working great now.

May 19th but there is a good chance it will be extended
