The Resurgence Map Pack for Modern Warfare 2 will be releasing June 2, 2010 on the Xbox 360

Activision has announced that the second batch of multiplayer maps for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, will be releasing on Xbox Live June 3, 2010.

The Resurgence map pack will feature five new multiplayer levels and will be released first on the Xbox 360 and later on the PS3 and PC. Pricing details are yet to be revealed.

To celebrate the announcement, Infinity Ward will also be hosting a Double XP weekends beginning Friday, May 28, and on Friday, June 4.

15 bucks for 5 levels ain't bad, and that double EXP weekend will be awesome.

and the sad thing is that there will be millions of people who buy this and it's only going to encourage activision to maintain this price or possibly raise it higher.

Well I know for sure I'm not getting it.
It's getting ridiculous, how many more mappacks are they gonna release?!

MW2 alone costs loads even today. I wouldn't be happy to pour out even more cash to get a couple of more levels.
