Gears 2 Title Update 6

For those that still play it, a new update has been released. It added Social matchmaking which is very similar to Player matches from Gears 1. Among other things, the Update also greatly reduced the lag thanks to a better host selection system. It also adds a way better Client-Side Hit Detection system and makes the host shotgun vs off-host shotgun more of a fair battle.

Check it out if you like Gears 2, even if you didn't. I'm sure the new changes will get you atleast a bit interested in the multiplayer.

I would play Gears 2 again, except for the fact that my entire save file glitched and reset.

Nvm. I've not got it yet but now with the problems sorted out I should pick it up sometime.

I'm going to check it out. Gears 2 is an awesome game.

I bet they'll release a special edition for the holidays to get people pumped for Gears 3.

I think they've already released a GOTY version.

They've fixed that in the new update.
