Sup guys. Just simply making this thread as an informative one.

Now, while the Wiimote and Move obviously look similar, I'm sure you've heard fanboys say Sony has been working on the Move since 2003. And they did not lie when they said that. The concept has been worked on for a very long time now, and I have a video as cold, hard proof. The concept was original and new at the time, but simply needed more time to set off. As for the controller looking similar to the Wiimote:

Really? What do you expect, a triangle? And keep in mind, the button placement and ergonomics are very different. The Move is more tubular, while the Wiimote is more rectangular.

And here is your cold hard proof:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=isHJAyCICw4&sns=em

As you can see, the "wand" has no buttons as a ball was attached to it. But the concept remains the same: For the camera to track the ball based on its color. Add in the different ergonomics, design, and button layout, the Move is actually quite an original idea. It simply was not revealed soon enough.

Although the "subcontroller" is definitely a nunchuk copy, imo.

Good day!

Similar design but much more accurate, although the Tiger Woods demo did'nt look at all accurate at E3.
