New xbox 360 CONFIRMED to no longer have the red ring of death

Yeah I'm certain the failure rate will not be as great as even ps3's.
I've never got rrod, none of the people I know who bought 360's in late 2008-2010 got RROD either.

With a new slim model and MS actually starting the system from scratch I'm sure there will be no problems with the good old XBAWKS!!!

how is any of that a problem, i mean if your stupid enough to move your 360 while it's on then then deal with what happens, alot of things scratch disc when moved, dont move it simple, and the red ring well since no jaspers have gotten it and the new 360 slim is lesser than that the failure will only happen from a hammer or foot to the console, not from the console breaking by itself.

you guys don't understand do you. it doesn't matter if you move your console or not. most things scratch disks yes. but they don't destroy disk like the 360 does. there is no excuse.

i have seen a ps3 tip over on its side and it doesn't destroy the disk like the 360. there is nothing wrong with liking the 360 but you can't deny the face it will ruin your games.

Also I didn't know 360 had a problem with scratching discs most likely because none of my discs are scratched except for GTA IV which I dropped multiple times. Also nobody said the 360 doesn't get the RROD anymore. The new models just don't get it as much or just have a dot and even then it's much more reliable than the launch consoles.

I like how you make it seem the new 360 slim is gonna scratch your discs when it was really just ONE console at E3. What if it was ps3 slim getting a YLOD at E3. People are gonna think the PS3 is unreliable OMG.

I don't think their trying to say there aren't any problems. Every console has problems, they're just making it seem like the ps3 fanboys won't be bitching about the RROD or RDOD because the new 360s are just more reliable. Nobody's bitching about the ps3 being unreliable.

Only a complete idiot would move their console while a game is playing. There is a sticker on the front of the system that says do not move your system. That guy in the vid seems like a complete dumb ass.

im pretty dissapointed microsoft didnt fix the disk error but the rdod will prolly Occur less with those fans heres another thing you can just install games into that empty 250gig hardrive (at your convience of course!)

He said RROD was fixed, not disc scratching. Disc scratching still exists.

but ACCIDENTS happen. its just the point that most systems might scratch your disk but the 360 will make you have to buy a whole new game.

For one,if that RARE accident did happen(only a moron would put their console in a spot that it could easily fall off,no offense) MS will replace that disk.So no,it wont make you buy a new one.And if your console does fall,id worry more about the console then the disk in it....
