So he says it's too late for a 360 improvement?
Just like it's too late for Gran Turismo? Too late to rely on Ps3 for gaming considering it's got less than 360? Too late for relying on psn to get a good online experience because it's still inferior to 360 after all this time?

For as long as ps3 is still behind it, then it's fine for 360 to keep getting improvements. The generation isn't over yet. It's still in the lead as far as ps3 vs 360 goes, and so his opinion is irrelevant.
