Interesting observations:
MW2 on 360 is still out pre-ordering PS3 at a 3:1 ratio.
Uncharted has one week to go and is still at less than 300,000 preorders. At one week left ODST had about 1.3 million. Lets factor in that ODST has bad press flowing all over the media and Uncharted 2 has great press. Reviewers cautioned that ODST might not be worth $60 for everyone while reviews are flat out saying Uncharted 2 is a must buy. What that means is that PS3 fans have no excuse in this matter. They just don't play games, even their best ones.
Xbox 360 Assassin's Creed 2 is out pre-ordering PS3 by almost double. The same goes for Brutal Legend.
Left 4 Dead 2 made it to the top 10 pre-orders and it still has 6 weeks to go and it has the same bad reputation brewing that ODST had as merlying an expansion. What that means is Xbox 360 fans don't care what people say we know good games when we see them, and we buy/play them too. Forza 3 is doing pretty well for such a new franchise.
The only PS3 multiplat beating Xbox is Tekken 6. This can probably attributed to the series long time exclusivity to Playstation. Xbox Fans just aren't that big of Tekken fans as PS3 fans.
