Being a huge fan of MGS since it was first released, I only found out that the main theme was sung by an Irish singer by the name of Aoife Ní Fhearraigh. Also just found out that the song is in IRISH. Goes to show how much I care about my native language.
Nah, Im just to lazy to be fluent. XD
Anyone have any similar incidents?

Hahaha! That's cool.
But yeah, errm I found out that Christopher Lennertz, who did the soundtrack of GUN, also did the soundtrack for other games, I think Medal Of Honor was one of them.
Also one of the bands who play in Alan Wake are called Poets Of The Fall and they're goood.
Ooh and as much as I detest GTA IV, one of the songs on it is an infectiously catchy song that was on Eurovision song contest one year (thing is I had heard the song before and heard it on gta afterwards. It was weird....)

Poets of the Fall AKA Old Gods of Asgard. I've only listened to the songs from AW, Children of The Elder Gods = Pure epic.

Oh okay cool. I'll have a look. But Poets Of the Fall are very good too. These are some of the best songs by them: Carnival Of Rust, Heal My Wounds, Dreaming Wide Awake (if you like).

Poets of the Fall are in Alan Wake. They play the part of Old Gods of Asgard, you know the two crazy old biker dudes that are in the diner at the start and the mental institute near the end. Also the song plays when you go to the farm and your on the stage fending off the Taken.
