I actually agree 99% with this article.
I'm uncertain of whether it will be the best game of 2010 or not but I thought it was absolutely amazing!
Way more fun than Uncharted 2 (IN MY OPINION!!!!) , and if you see my review, you'll see I said that it was the most fun demo I've played.

Actually.....
I find the gameplay really underwhelming. It just feels like a more sticky version of tomb raider.
I can see it's a good game but it's really not for me.

Because it's mindblowingly fun!!

I've just completed the demo for a second time on hard. And I want to do it again!!!

Story appears to be very good.

But gameplay wise? By the demo i can say that the platform gameplay is weaker than Uncharted 2 and the Hack&Slash is weaker than God of War III and i bet that most of the reviewers are gonna point that out in the end.

Controls are a little spastic.

I'm sorry, but the demo fucking sucked. Mediocre graphics, easy guided platforming, simple combat, I don't see what's so great about it.

ITS LIKE DARK SECTOR ALL OVER AGAIN. The game gets hyped like its the fucking second coming and then it is terrible on release. We will just have to wait and see about this one though.

Sounds like Gears 2. I'll withhold my final judgement for this game until it releases, but I'm not expecting much.

Just played the demo. Apart from the qurky movement the game is amazing and can't wait to play it

Graphically it's really good looking! the character models look excellent, some textures look pretty nice and yeah...the enemy models look alright too.
Also the city which you fly over looks fantastic!

I have little to complain about in the graphics department.

Yeah, the platforming is easy and guided but it's really slick and come on, admit it got intense when you're hanging onto the side of that ship and you're about to hit into the building so you've got to climb up quickly!
Really... just so epic!

Combat was fairly simple, yeah. Even on hard difficulty but I still found it really fun! The sound effects were awesome and of course....the actual animation is cool. And after completing the demo did you see the trailer type thing? That massive robot thing was a beast!!!

i dunno the demo was shit. the graphics were worse than heavenly sword a 2007(2008?) game and it had a lot of screen tearing especially on the part where the fire is coming out of the engine and the gameplay felt slow and sluggish the castlevania lords of shadows demo was way better

This is a beacon, a fine reminder that if you have talented people and a little respect for your audience, great storytelling in games can be not only possible but profound.

enslaved looks sexy, but uncharted 2 was also sexy, just hope this one is sexy-ER
