| Simple question really, list five games you are looking forward to in 2011 and explain why. Also, comment on other's choices because I like to see the input in multiple people. 5. Twisted Metal: Dev-Eat Sleep Play, Pub-Sony, System - PS3 It's Twisted F*cking Metal. 4. Killzone 3: Dev-Guerrilla, Pub-Sony, System - PS3 If any of you have seen my posts about Killzone 2 I said that it is a piece of shit game. Which it is, CURRENTLY. I got a PS3 (my brother actually but same household so whatever) last October the first game I bought for it was Killzone 2. I played a bit of skirmish first, then some campaign, and then online. It was fucking phenomenal. The graphics were amazing, the sound effects were epic, and the gameplay was badass. Even with crappy controls it was still pretty damn beast. I loved playing it, however, not too long after getting it MW2 came out. I played if for about a month, got all the achievements, and for the first month it was a lot of fun until people became high rank and started being cheap ass hell. Anyways I went back to Killzone 2 and I was like WTF? MW2 players ruined Killzone 2. The near non-existent grenade spamming and spawn camping became common place. The whole multiplayer turned into a pile of shit after MW2 came out. Regardless the game was awesome and Killzone 3 will be even more epic, up until the next COD game comes out anyways. 3. Catherine: Dev-Atlus, Pub-Atlus, System - 360 The trailer was gay as fuck. It looks like a mix of an action game, a horror game, and softcore porn. However this is the first game developed by Atlus for the 360 and PS3. Typically Atlus takes the safe route and develops for the highest selling systems. I like Atlus games so I want them to start making games for the 2 systems, not just publishing them. So because of that I'm hoping that this game will sell good. The PS3 version will sell like shit just like all Atlus games did on the PS2, but the 360 has a surprisingly high amount of sales for Japanese games that don't seem like Western Games or are FFXIII like Infinite Undiscovery, Last Remnant, Tales of Vesperia, Lost Odyssey, etc. So maybe this game will sell good on the 360. Atlus games are generally AA in reviews and there are a lot games I like with shitty launch trailers and it's developed by Atlus so there is sure to be plenty of quality in this game. 2. Crysis 2: Dev-Crytek, Pub-EA, System - 360 It's a Sci-fi FPS, forgot to say that Killzone 3 was one too. Anyways I've come to the conclusion that I hate Modern "realistic" FPS games with a passion. You have no health, grenades spamming, 1 hit kill melees, camping, etc., but Sci-fi FPSs are fun as hell. Anyways I didn't become hyped about this game until I read about it in OXM. Great graphics (not just the fidelity of the graphics, but the graphic style too), great guns, great animation, intelligent AI, etc., unexpectedly Crytek is showing off their technical prowess in Crysis 2. Also, the writer has the nerve to bash the storyline of other great video games like Halo, so that means he's very confident that Crysis 2's story kicks major ass. So I am expecting a good story, great graphics, above average gameplay, and a great soundtrack (by the trailers I'm pretty sure it does). 1. Gears of War 3: Dev-Epic Games, Pub-Microsoft, System - 360 The original Gears of War is my favorite game on the 360. It was the definition of Hardcore and despite the massive amount of trash talk it had a pretty closely knit gaming community. Although Gears 2 was dumbed down for the casuals but Cliff Bleszinski said that he was talking Gears 3 back to it's roots. It appears to have a lot of content this time around and they have put a female cog available for multiplayer which is cool because Gears of War has a surprisingly large female fanbase. You get to play as the berserker, the locusts look even more badass, Beast and Horde mode, and it will also be the conclusion to the epic main storyline of Gears of War. The only thing this game needs to be perfect are dedicated servers as well all know that Gears suffers from periodic lag and the every so pain in the ass Host advantage. Oh, and I think matchmaking should be removed and allow players to set up their own games and join other like in Gears 1, but I have a good feeling Gears 3 will have that too.

| 5. Ghost Recon: Future Soldier (Developer: Ubisoft Paris, Publisher: Ubisoft) I love tactical shooters, and although I prefer Ghost Recon in the first-person, I did enjoy Advanced Warfighter and the E3 demo of Future Soldier was incredible. I'll have to try the beta first (if it ever actually releases)
4. LittleBigPlanet 2 (Developer: Media Molecule, Publisher: SCE) I already have the Collector's Edition paid off. This game is going to provide months and months of entertainment.
3. Marvel vs. Capcom 3 (Developer: Capcom, Publisher: Capcom) I haven't been that into fighting games until recently, and this game looks phenomenal, plus it has my favorite Capcom characters in it (Viewtiful Joe, Okami, and Dante).
2. inFAMOUS 2 (Developer: Sucker Punch, Publisher: SCE) inFAMOUS was my second-favorite game of 2009, and all of my gripes about the game have been fixed. The fights look awesome, and Cole's new powers also look great.
1. Batman: Arkham City (Developer: Rocksteady Studios, Publisher: Warner Bros.) Arkham Asylum was my favorite game of 2009. This game looks to improve on everything. Need I say more?
Some other games I'm looking forward to are Dragon Age II, RAGE, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, and hopefully The Elder Scrolls V makes it in 2011.

| Interesting choices, BS. I agree with a few of those but still... here's mine This is in no order: 5. The Secret World - Idon't know if it's going to 360 for sure but damn, it looks amazing. Even if it does come to xbox 360, if it has a monthly fee I'm not buying it but I am still so damn excited. 4.Gray Matter - Ahhhhhh damn its like the good old point n click adventure games I love! I cant wait, I cant wait. Ill be getting it on 360, not pc, just for the sake of it. Btw the writer of the story wrote the Gabriel Knight storyline (GK3 was an epic game). 3.Crysis 2 - Im actually just hyping it up because of the graphics. Nothing else. lol But yeah also because I want a decent shooter. btw will it have multplayer? 2.Mass Effect 3 - I don't know why.... Ive got bored of ME2 at the moment. But once I get back into it I know Im going to get addicted again and Im going to be like "AAAHHH OMG" when Mass Effect 3 comes out. 1. Dragon Age 2 probably... Im not decided yet. Ive not really thought that much about the 2011 games yet. Yeah Im hyping gears 3 but meh .... Ive not gotten into gears 2 yet so its hard for me to say Im really excited for the third yet. But nevertheless... dragon age Im starting to get into (despite it being inferior to oblivion) and so yeah, Im looking forward to the sequel. 0. The Elder Scrolls 5 - Its probably not coming but I can dream right? Btw Im also looking forward to Resistance 3. I know I aint got a ps3 but the resistance games are cool. | |

This game? Cause that comes out November 25. I think he means that Aksys Games or some other publisher will publish the game. I wish its region-free.

| 5. Gears Of War 3 I liked Gears Of War 2's story because it was a HUGE improvement over the first game. Maybe this time we'll get 3 dimensional characters! 4. That dragon game for Kinect. It looks pretty cool from what I've seen and reminds a lot of How To Train Your Dragon. 3. Codename D Don't really know when it's gonna come out but I want to find out how they're going to make an action game without guns or swords. 2. Rise Of Nightmares It's a survival horror game. Nuff said. 1. Lost Odyssey II Like DemonWolf, I can only hope. | |

| Wow. I spent a lot of time typing that out and most of you guys don't even bother to explain why you are interested in those games lol. There was a purpose to this thread, not just list 5 games... | |
