Usergroups

I have an idea for a new user group on this forum, kind of "VIP" section if you like. Something that will give the most active a bit difference to normal "membership". Like a "minimod" if you like, with abilites such as: making "sticky" threads (only if they are popular), or "vote" ban/kick for shorter time.

For example:
Not being able to ban but, kick some out for a day or a couple of hours. Dont know if this can be done due to site limitations...

Good idea. It would encourage members to be more active.

Good idea. Except I wouldn't give them power to ban but they can do the other stuff you mentioned.

someone who could stick topics
move posts
fix topics and such
and premission to ban trolls on his own topic

i would call it janitors

Oh ok, I misunderstood you then. Banning trolls on their own topic is good. Anyway I like that whole idea. Sounds good to me.

No members should be set above other members. We are all equals here. Even mods shouldn't have perks, only responsibility to maintain order and ban PS3 fantard trolls.

No VIP group.

I agree, I often hate exclusive groups with the exception of those who have authority to maintain rules. Also, someone could pull a hellhound on us and you can see a problem with that, or maybe the "BS banner" would be repeated.
