Microsoft Promises More Reveals in 2011

hate the way microsoft's totally abandoned the hardcore gamers for 2011 and gradually focused on kinect. That was an absolute bad move from them but i have high hopes that they bring more exclusives to the table for us all to play

Totally abandoned the hardcore? No
They have Gears of War 3, Codename Kingdoms, Steel Battalion, those hardcore Kinect games announced at TGS and there will most likely be some Halo game for the 10 year anniversary and those are just the games that i can think of off the top of my head.

Plus don't forget about all the timed exclusive DLC for games such as Call of Duty and Fallout New Vegas.

Fist of all who said this was a console war? I'm just comparing how the PS3's audience is going to possess a wide variety of hardcore exclusive games next year compared to the 360 hardcore audience. @ statronika, sorry but Arbiteris does have a point. People bring in the competition into non-console war related posts and it's getting rather annoying. This is an Xbox 360 NEWS section, you claimed 360 has very few games next year, ghost gave you examples of games to look forward to next year that are hardcore and you respond by saying ps3's lineup is better.
I don't see the relevance. You're told that there are indeed good games coming to Xbox and just because as of yet the competition has more announced, suddenly the Xbox lineup is not good enough to you.

nah I didn't say the lineup is not good enough to me, I'm just saying that PS3's line up is stronger at the moment but i'm just disappointed that M$ is focusing more on the kinect software but yet sony's focusing more on Move and Normal PS3 games. But at the end of the day it's not like we're all going to buy ALL exclusives in that year, and yeah it's pointless talking about this if no one's understand where I'm coming from

343 has been building up their staff to become a full fledged dev. That Halo CE remake sounds very likely (its a game to break them in as a dev).

XBLA beats the crap out of PSN any year.

Lots of kinect titles announced, both casual and core.

Timed DLC like Black ops, the odd 360/PC games comes every year.

And personally, i think MS will announce the next gen this E3 (THAT would steal all of Sonys thunder)

I think the whole " PS3s exclusives are better than MS's" is total crap, they are not gonna buy them all anyway or any in the numbers 360 get... and that is kinda proven at this point...

Jokes aside, Even though everyone is going into arms into this vs exclusives thing, it's rarer and rarer to see people buying more than 6 exclusives PER YEAR... Sheesh, Im still missing exclusives from 09 that I wanted and a lot from '10.. we are not catching up to game releases as much as before

Dude it sounds like you gave up and are cutting and running. A remake of halo wont give 343 a "break" a remake is making a game someone already made. also would be dumb since a halo game released this year,no one wants to kill and spam the franchise and tire it out by releasing another one. Especially since gears 3 and a new cod will be there by the fall. mechwarrior and xcom are unknown franchises that really no one cares about. codename kingdoms is unproven. core gamers don't care about core kinect games,motion is crap to them,you even said it in one of your videos dude. timed dlc don't matter much,the game is still multiplatform. Microsoft won't announce the next gen on E3,then why would they bring out kinect? Sony has no thunder,especially since this fall falling even deeper into last place. They been lost the mindshare.

modern warfare 3 hasn't been confirmed yet.. i really don't think its going to be released next year.i heard the next call of duty is going to be a cod game in space by a amateur studio named sledgehammer (i think it was called like that)
