Judging from IGN'S live feed it seems pretty awesome.

Pic of it running uncharted: http://cdnmo.coveritlive.com/media/image/201101/phpHeEBxaphoto8.JPG

If anyone else has more details or articles about it, feel free to add. Shocked bounce

"graphics to rival the PS3"

Sounds costly already. Uncharted is looking pretty cool though, but releasing this nearly 6 months after the 3DS is going to be really tough for Sony.

"Charge for 24 hours and get 2 hours of gameplay out of it" Smile

Just saying on another forum, the battery life will suck balls. Unless it's nuclear powered. Laughing

Even if the NGP released around the same time, 3DS would still probably outsell. Nintendo's fanbase is enormous (and for good reason)

Not big on portable gaming, anyway. I do like my DS for Pokemon though.

That sort of defeats the purpose of portable if you think about it.

to be honest with you. I wouldn't feel comfortable with a Hightech thing like that in my pocket anyway...not when my pockets are allways bumping into doorways or if I slipped on ice and landed on my side. Looks to expensive to risk having that in public. sure its protable but its not like I'll be walking and playing at the same time anyway.

I know what you mean, but NGP is going to be so expensive, that if you really aren't going to carry it around with you, you may as well buy a PS3.

Umm, PS3 is $299 USD.
It going to be extremely tough for Sony to price this under $300 based on what included in the system.

Sony said that they want this to be affordable and profitable.

$300 - $350 is my guess.

Its an OLED screen and its 5'' small, 720p is really not necessary.

They aren't using UMD anymore. They are using an improved version of it. Honestly, the new one is better.
