New Update (Facebook, Twitter, etc.)

Did anyone else get the update preview? I just downloaded it, and it's pretty cool. I'm big into sig making, and with Facebook, I can view mah album of sigs from my TV. They look so beautiful. There's also a Music Marketplace now (IDK if it works with anything other than a Zune). I also tweeted (just for the hell of it, I rarely even use Twitter). Last.fm works pretty well, but you can't play and listen to your music, and there are some short advertisements. The visuals, though, are pretty cool. I'm listening to "White Light" by Gorillaz, and I'm being treated to a slew of pictures of the band.

My 360 is a bit laggy after the download, and Facebook and last.fm have to be downloaded separately (they're still free), meaning a little more HDD space taken up, but those are minute problems. Overall, pretty cool update.

Its a shame that Europe have to wait for the update

i got mine facebook and twitter are nice touches but not as good as goin on a computer last.fm and zune movies are a very welcome addition tho

i got part of it.... MS messed up... i got like 1/2 of the update.. then it said my console ID was wrong... so i changed it and now i gotta wait 304 buiness days in order to get on xbox live... oh well... im gonna go threw halo 1/ 2 / odst / 3 (in that order ^_^)

Are you on a modded system or did you use some kind of hack?

If it's MS's mistake I'm sure you can straighten it out, but if it's your fault you're screwed.

no... i talked to support and they said there was somthing wrong at there end... oh well

Nice, update will be here soon. Ads are kinda annoying though, but ads are everywhere so it doesnt surprise me.

Yea, it's something you have to sign up for. There's usually a video on the 360 Dashboard on how to sign up (it's too late, though). Go to the URL that they give you in the video, and fill out an easy survey to be considered (note: this does not mean that you have a 100% chance of getting it; that being said, I'm two for two on the updates I've been getting, as I also got the Avatar Marketplace early).

update really comes out on nov 17 just like when the nxle came out
